A Hocus Pocus 2 set video gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the Sanderson sisters' house. The highly anticipated sequel flew into production nearly three decades after Hocus Pocus first enchanted audiences in 1993. Flaunting the whimsical chemistry of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson sisters - three witches hellbent on staying young forever - the movie has become a Halloween cult-classic in recent years. In 2020, Disney finally announced that a follow-up flick was in the works, with the original trio returning.

Hocus Pocus 2 began filming across Rhode Island in the fall of 2021. Though the original was shot in Salem, Massachusetts, production opted to erect a fabricated version of the famed witchy city in the Ocean State for the sequel. Eager onlookers watched as director Anne Fletcher (The Proposal) and the rest of the team began exterior shots on intricately made sets. From a spooky Halloween festival in Newport's town square to an entire colonial village built on a farm in Lincoln, photos and videos of the movie's sets began to surface online. Of course, nothing caused more of a stir than seeing the Sanderson sisters' home once again.

This time around, it seems the Sanderson's home exists as "Olde Salem Magic Shoppe" in modern times, dubbed featuring potions and gifts. Designers replicated the home's original look, from the Tudor siding to the lead windows. Previous sneak peeks showed that scenes will in fact take place inside the home with Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson. In Hocus Pocus, audiences were introduced to the cottage at the beginning of the film as it was in Colonial times, deep in the woods of Salem. Memorable characteristics were the purple smoke billows from the chimney and a booming waterwheel on the side. The '90s version of the witches' lair was a shut-down museum, where Max Dennison foolishly lit the Black Flame Candle.

Clearly the Sanderson cottage will play a part in Hocus Pocus 2, but it's unclear exactly what that part will be. It's very likely that upon being brought back to life, the core three will march over to their old stomping grounds to gain some bearings: Mary might see if she left the caldron on; Sarah could find her lucky rat tail; and Winnie would be reunited with her beloved book. Of course, only time will tell who lights the Black Flame Candle to bring them back.
