Hitman 3 is set to release next week, but it looks like IO Interactive still has news to share as it recently dropped all the game’s locations in one beautiful reveal. Hitman 3 follows the story of Agent 47, the long-time protagonist of the Hitman franchise which celebrated its 20th anniversary just a few months ago. The third and last installment in the World of Assassination trilogy, Hitman 3 will also be the first in the series to launch on next-gen consoles, and judging by the game’s regions, the team is looking to finish this chapter in style.

Though this reveal shares more than ever, it isn’t the first glimpse of the game’s world that IO Interactive has shared with its fans. Following the game’s summer reveal, it was announced there would be levels set in both Dubai and England – the English setting even had a clever Easter egg for Knives Out fans. Last month, the studio released a short video showing off its opening sequence. Though the trailer focuses on the game’s protagonist and dramatic story, its background displays a noticeably diverse world. It showcased various regions that included everything from arid deserts to gleaming coasts. Not long after that, the team unveiled another piece of footage which gave players another look at a long-known location and opened among the gleaming skyscrapers of Dubai.

IO Interactive lifted the curtain today to give fans a full view of the locations in its upcoming title Hitman 3. Beyond the information fans had already received about different settings, the studio has also included notes on when players can expect to encounter each region of the world. First up is a location that was revealed some time ago, Dubai. The city is marked by towering spires reaching into the clouds and will be the first place players will explore in the game. As IO Interactive explains, players will begin “literally on top of the world” as Agent 47 attends the grand opening of the tallest building in the world. The ceremony, and the crowd there to experience it, will undoubtedly provide excellent cover for the resourceful hitman. From one grand setting to the next, the game will then jump to England with its large manor houses steeped in history. The half-way mark will see Agent 47 in the outskirts of Berlin where the player will be able to get lost in the city’s wild party scenes.

At this point the post promises the story will intensify under the ever-glowing neon lights of Chongqing, China. The “megacity” offers plenty of opportunity to get lost among the packed streets and lesser traveled walkways. Getting away from the city for the game’s second to last setting, Agent 47 will be plying his trade in Mendoza, Argentina’s wine country. After the sunny landscapes, the last section of the game looks to be set in a much more unforgiving environment. The final piece of the game will take place in the Carpathian Mountains, meaning Agent 47 is once again setting out for Romania.

This latest message from IO Interactive promises “globetrotting adventure” to end the last piece of the World of Assassination trilogy in style. From the serene to the intense, high class to back-alley, it looks like the missions in Hitman 3 are going to play out in some spectacular settings.
