The star of The Hills: New Beginnings, Spencer Pratt, is talking about the way that fatherhood has changed him for the better. Spencer graced television screens in 2006 when MTV premiered the original The Hills. Spencer was portrayed as Heidi Montag's villainous boyfriend, who tore apart Heidi's close friendship with Lauren Conrad. Despite many objections from their co-stars, Heidi and Spencer married in 2008. The couple welcomed their first son, Gunner Pratt, in 2017.

Back in their heydey, Heidi and Spencer (also known as 'Speidi') were featured on the cover of magazines on a regular basis. The couple has since admitted that they staged paparazzi photoshoots back then. Unfortunately, when the show ended in 2010, the buzz around Speidi died down. Since then, Spencer has been wanting to reach even greater heights when it comes to fame and fortune. In fact, the pair, who love to comment on other The Hills scandals. started their own "Make Speidi Famous Again" movement. Spencer is often seen wearing a red hat with that slogan on it.

However, Spencer admits that being a dad has changed him, and he'll take spending time with his son Gunner over being "Kim K-level rich and famous" any day. Spencer told Us Weekly, "just the simple moments of being grounded as a parent are so powerful." Spencer also spoke about all the things he would never do if it wasn't for his son, like walking "six miles" around the San Diego Zoo and swimming in hotel pools, despite considering them dirty. He says it's moments like these when he realizes he really is a father.

Spencer explains, "fatherhood has changed me because I am literally a different person." The gossip-loving Spencer is often sharing pictures and videos of himself with his 4-year-old son on social media. The reality star teaches Gunner how to make espresso and has introduced him to the magic of crystals, which he sells through his brand, Pratt Daddy Crystals. With regard to his crystal company, Spencer says, "I actually really believe we're helping the world."

It seems that The Hills: New Beginnings star has evolved dramatically. He's not the person fans of the original show saw onscreen. Like any parent, Spencer is learning that all the money in the world doesn't compete with priceless moments spent with a child. Since Gunner's birth in 2017, Spencer has proudly shown off his son and considers his offspring a miracle. Heidi and Spencer have been actively trying for baby number two and have said that they've been having trouble getting pregnant. Heidi and Spencer adore Gunner, and a second baby would be welcomed with so much love.
