The controversial couple may be best known for blowing 10 million dollars of their Hills money within two years, believing that crystal therapy would be the next fad. Heidi was originally a fashion student from Colorado who never argued and kept to herself, while Spencer at the time was an L.A. producer when they met in the second season of The Hills. The two, who quickly became a household name when they began dating and became the villains of the show, are known for starting a sex tape rumor and having ten plastic surgeries in one day.
Now, in the season finale of The Hills: New Beginnings, the happy couple decided to renew their wedding vows. The September 9 finale nuptials meant even more to the two this time around because they actually had their friends and family in attendance supporting them. The whole cast, including, Brody Jenner, Kaitlynn Carter, Mischa Barton, Brandon Lee, Stephanie Pratt, Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, Justin Brescia, Frankie Delgado, Jennifer Delgado, Jason Wahler, and Ashley Wahler showed up in their Sunday best to take part in the festivities. The wedding took place in Santa Barbara, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The newlyweds (again) rented a house for the entire group to stay over the weekend.
The wedding took place on a December morning, and as Heidi walked down the aisle to Spencer, she could not help but shed a couple of tears. As they both recited their vows to one another, Spencer also took a second to shed some tears. Their love for each other caused a mass outbreak of crying among the guests, with cameras cutting to Justin, who said seeing this type of love is something he yearns for. The finale couldn’t end without a bit of drama, though, as Kaitlynn was not happy to learn that Ashley had been talking about her relationship with Brody, telling others that the pair were not even legally married. The wedding reception ended with a one-of-a-kind performance from Heidi herself.
For fans of The Hills: New Beginnings, it was nice to see all the friends join together for such a happy occasion. The next season of the hit MTV show should bring more drama than its predecessor, as Brody and Kaitlynn’s split, as well as Stephanie and Spencer’s sibling rivalry, may have been caught on camera.
