The Hills: New Beginnings star, Kaitlynn Carter is reportedly at peace with her split with husband Brody Jenner. The reality TV couple amicably split up last month and have both been moving on to new relationships.

36-year-old Jenner was first brought into the public eye when he joined the original The Hills in its second season. In 2019, nearly 10 years after the original MTV reboots The Hills: New Beginnings, Jenner is back on the show unofficially married to his longtime girlfriend, Carter, with a beautiful ceremony in June of 2018 in Indonesia. The Hills reboot has shown glimpses of them struggling throughout their one-year-long marriage, as they are conflicting over when they should start a family. It has also been revealed on the show that the couple was in a polyamorous relationship. The pair have separated earlier last month and both Jenner and Carter are already moving on with new relationships.

Carter is now rumored to be dating pop star, Miley Cyrus after she was seen locking lips with Miley while the two vacationed in Italy together. The photos happened the same day Miley announced her split with Liam Hemsworth. Things have been heating up between Miley and Carter as the couple was seen being affectionate backstage during the MTV Video Music Awards. According to The Hills: New Beginnings co-star Whitney Port (via Us), Carter is doing exceptionally well after her split with Jenner. Carter's friend on the show, Port, opened up about how she feels she's doing since her split with Jenner, saying, "Just like anybody else’s friend, you just want them to be happy." She said that although she is there as a shoulder for Carter to cry on, she hasn't asked for the support, saying, "I mean, I haven’t needed to support her. She doesn’t need my support."

As Carter has been nearly inseparable from Miley since the kissing photos were released to the public, it seems things are getting pretty serious for the two. Port said that her friend is doing amazing, and that "She's in a really good place." Port then touched on how the current season of The Hills: New Beginnings is so far off from what is happening in Jenner and Carter's private lives currently that she isn't sure how the show will cover that, she said, "I have no idea what the producers are thinking. I mean, I’m sure they’re going to want to dive into what their lives look like now. But since everything happened off-camera, I don’t know exactly how they’re going to cover that."

Even though Jenner and Carter have split, the two have remained friends, as on Jenner's 36th birthday he posted on his Instagram stories about receiving a weed bouquet from his ex-"wife" and her new flame, Carter and Miley. The two both attended the VMAs with their new loves and didn't seem too worried about bumping into each other. As it seems that both of The Hills: New Beginnings stars have moved on to people that do make them happy, the show is still documenting the journey that leads to their split.
