He’s All That is a gender-swapped remake of the 1990s classic She’s All That, and while it mostly has a new cast, it will also count on the presence of some well-known faces – and here’s who plays who. Addison Rae as Padgett Sawyer
Addison Rae plays Padgett Sawyer, a social media influencer whose plan to surprise her boyfriend goes terribly wrong as she finds out he has been cheating on her. As a result, she makes a bet with her friends that she can turn anyone into prom king, just like she turned her ex-boyfriend into what he’s now. Padgett is this version’s Zack Siler, and so she will start developing feelings for her new “project”. Addison Rae, like her character, is a social media personality who rose to fame on TikTok, and though she voiced Rosalinde in the 2018 movie Spy Cat, He’s All That is her proper acting debut.
Tanner Buchanan as Cameron Kweller
Tanner Buchanan plays Cameron Kweller, an unpopular high school student with an affinity for photography and horses. Cameron becomes the target of Padgett’s bet, but he obviously doesn’t know that she’s spending time with him because of that. Tanner Buchanan is best known for his TV roles, playing Evan Turner in The Goldbergs, Charlie Gardner in Girl Meets World, Mason Kendall in Game Shakers, Jack Downey in The Fosters, Leo Kirkman in Designated Survivor, and Robby Keene in Cobra Kai.
Peyton Meyer as Jordan Van Draanen
Peyton Meyer plays Jordan Van Draanen, Padgett’s boyfriend who is also a social media personality and who has been cheating on her, with their breakup being the trigger of the whole story. Peyton Meyer played Wes Manning in the TV series Dog with a Blog and Lucas Friar in Girl Meets World.
Rachael Leigh Cook as Anna Sawyer
Rachael Leigh Cook plays Anna Sawyer, Padgett’s mom who offers her advice during her painful breakup and later during the equally painful consequences of her actions following the bet.
