Heroes' Odd Off-Site Comic-Con Panel

"What room are we in, Tim?"

Almost every panel at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con is held in the convention center, in one of the main halls. Ballroom 20, for example, is a sizable room and a lot of shows are having appearances there.

Friday will see Ballroom 20 hosting panels for Stargate Universe, Caprica, BSG: The Plan, 24, Bones and Dollhouse.  (Hmmm... I think I know where I'll be all day Friday.)

So, you'd think that a big show like Heroes would be somewhere around Ballroom 20, or in one of the side rooms that aren't all that small either...

At least that's what I thought they'd do.  Every now and then, I'm wrong.  There, I said it.

Heroes will indeed have a panel and Tim Kring, Jack Coleman, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar, Zachary Quinto, Robert Knepper, Dawn Olivieri, Ray Park and Madeline Zima will be in attendance.

Sounds cool. But to attend the panel you will have to leave the convention center and head off to the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, and find the Indigo Room.  Yea, it's off-site from the convention center.

I don't get it.  We can surmise that maybe someone goofed with logistics, or that the network might be focusing on other things.  I don't know.

But they will be there.

The Heroes panel will be in the Indigo Room on Saturday, July 25th at 3:15 p.m..

I'll be adding this to the Comic-Con TV panel so you can see the whole collection of events there.
