Hermione Granger was an extremely gifted witch within the Harry Potter series and she reached great heights following the movies. Actress Emma Watson portrayed the Muggle-born witch in all eight installments of the franchise based on the beloved books by J.K. Rowling. The young member of House Gryffindor was the ideal student, although a little bossy at times. Hermione's friendship with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley greatly evolved by the end of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. As the years went on, Hermione was a prominent figure in all of the events that took place in the Wizarding World following Lord Voldemort's return.

Hermione was never one to back down from a fight. She bravely joined as a member of Dumbledore's Army and accompanied Harry and Ron on a dangerous hunt for Horcruxes. Hermione participated in the Second Wizarding War's biggest fight, the Battle of Hogwarts. She fought alongside her friends, Hogwarts professors, and members of the Order of the Pheonix to protect the school from the Death Eaters. Hermione also helped defeat one of the most powerful Death Eaters, Bellatrix Lestrange. Following Voldemort's defeat marking the end of the war, Hermione finished school and went on to do brilliant things.

In the epilogue featured in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, it was revealed that Hermione went on to marry Ron and the pair had two children, Rose and Hugo. The flash-forward scene showed Hermione and Ron dropping of their eldest child, Rose, for her first year at Hogwarts. While at King's Cross station, Hermione and Ron united with Harry and Ginny and the group remained lifelong friends. Hermione was notably made the godmother of Harry's first child, James Sirius.

Rowling has filled in some blanks regarding Hermione's life in the years since the series ended. After school, Hermione got a job in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures in the Ministry of Magic. Her main goal was to fight for the better treatment of house-elves due to her experience with Dobby. Shortly after, she became the Deputy Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and worked directly with the Minister for Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt, to get rid of old laws that favored pure-blood wizards and witches.

By 2019, Hermione took over Shacklebolt's role and became the new Minister for Magic, the highest-ranking member in the Ministry of Magic. Hermione was also heavily involved in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child after Albus and Scorpius messed with the timeline after using a Time-Turner. When the kids were kidnapped by a Dark witch, Delphi, Hermione assisted Harry and Draco in traveling in time for a rescue attempt. The group tricked the witch and Hermione managed to take her to Azkaban. Just like her time throughout the Harry Potter series, Hermione would never ignore the chance to help a friend.
