Spider-Man star Tom Holland and The Witcher's Henry Cavill appeared on an episode of The Graham Norton Show together, where the former made it clear he'd like to join Cavill for a game of Warhammer. It's no secret that Henry Cavill is a Warhammer buff who loves painting the miniatures. As many may recall, the Superman actor referenced Warhammer 40K during WitcherCon this past summer, noting that a chandelier on The Witcher set bears a striking resemblance to a Blackstone Fortress.

Warhammer comes in various forms, the first of which launched in 1983 as a tabletop role-playing game. The iconic fantasy brand has since expanded exponentially, particularly in video games where players can experience it as across multiple genres. Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide hit the ground running in 2015 as a first-person hack-and-slash experience from developer Fatshark. Its follow-up entry, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, released to positive critical reception a few years thereafter. In 2016, Creative Assembly brought turn-based mechanics into the mix with Total War: Warhammer, which received a sequel in 2017. Needless to say, there exists plenty of ways to enjoy Warhammer, including in a mobile tactics game scheduled to launch sometime next year.

During Henry Cavill's recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the host asked The Witcher star about his gaming-related hobbies. After clarifying that he paints Warhammer and not World of Warcraft miniatures, Cavill revealed he does indeed invite people over to put the might of his armies to the test against others. Spider-Man's Tom Holland, who also featured in the talk show, asked Cavill if he could someday join the Warhammer fun as well, to which Cavill responded, "you can!" Of course, fans are now wondering what a Warhammer wargame between Spider-Man and Superman might entail. Lots of quipping, for sure, perhaps with a hint of Geralt of Rivia's gruffness for good measure. Henry Cavill is no stranger to recording gaming-centric content either, having gone viral last year for posting a video of himself building a PC.

The Witcher star's gaming hobbies extend beyond PC building and painting Warhammer figures. Henry Cavill also has a great love for World of Warcraft, he's mentioned in the past. Plus, his role as Geralt likely wouldn't have been possible if The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt hadn't sparked his interest in Andrzej Sapkowski's ficitional world.
