During the San Diego Comic-Con 2020 panel for the upcoming Marvel show Helstrom, actor Alain Uy was humorously bleeped trying to unleash a tirade of spoilers. The series will be based on the characters of Daimon and Satana Hellstrom. Writer Roy Thomas created both characters, along with Gary Friedrich for Daimon and John Romita Sr. for Satana. Daimon first appeared in Ghost Rider #1 back in 1973. Satana meanwhile, debuted in Vampire Tales #2 later that same year. As brother and sister, they were raised to be evil. However, Daimon rejected that destiny. Satana, meanwhile, embraced that side of her nature. She would later evolve into more of an antihero.

It was announced in 2019 that the characters would get their own live-action series at Hulu. British actor Tom Austen will play a slightly more grounded version of Daimon. His sister, renamed Ana, will be played by Sydney Lemmon. The children of a powerful serial killer, the reimagined pair seek to protect those close to them and actively hunt down those who hurt others, respectively. Uy will play Chris Yen, Ana's business partner and surrogate brother. All three were in attendance at the Comic-Con@Home panel alongside Helstrom showrunner Paul Zbyszewski. There, fans were able to get a look at the show's first official teaser trailer.

Released by Comic-Con International, the assembled cast discussed several elements of the show and their characters. As has come to be expected from a Marvel production, everything is shrouded in a thick veil of secrecy. Therefore, the actors repeatedly checked what they could and could not divulge. Even when they were asked by moderator Laura Prudom to tease something from the upcoming episodes, the majority remained cryptic. Uy, however, with tongue firmly in cheek, went completely the other way. "I'm just going to ruin it for everybody," he said. "Okay, so this is what happens." What followed was a mic-dropping unleashing of secrets. Unfortunately, the majority of what he said was bleeped out. The full panel can be seen below. The exact moment, however, can be found at the 39:24 mark.

For a time, it appeared as though Helstrom would be scrapped alongside the previously planned Ghost Rider-based series. The fact that has turned out to not be the case has delighted fans - especially since Helstrom will explore a darker, as-yet-unexplored corner of the Marvel universe. Similar to what The New Mutants would've done for the X-Men franchise, an infusion of horror elements is something many have clamored for and would potentially not receive until Blade officially joins the MCU in Phase 5. With the trailer having been well-received already, fingers are being crossed that the series won't be as short-lived as projected.

Also present for the panel was the perfectly named Elizabeth Marvel, who plays Daimon and Ana's institutionalized mother, Victoria Helstrom. Robert Wisdom will play Caretaker, a guardian of the occult. June Carryl plays Louise Hastings, the head of the institution where Victoria is housed. Finally, Ariana Guerra plays Gabriella Rossetti, an agent of the Vatican who will slowly bond with Daimon and Ana after an antagonistic start.

Each seemed equal parts amused and aghast by whatever Uy was saying - which is either a testament that he was dropping genuine spoilers or their acting ability in the face of him parodying the likes of Tom Holland. Either way, Wisdom humorously chimed in that Uy was fired now. One thing that Uy said did slip through the bleeps, about somebody making a dramatic return of some kind. Of course, that could equally be everything or nothing. As such, fans will no doubt look forward to watching and seeing for themselves.
