You'd be forgiven for thinking the image above is a real-life photo of British actor Doug Bradley decked out in the makeup and prosthetics of horror icon Pinhead from the Hellraiser movies. It's actually an upcoming premium figure by Sideshow Collectibles and yes, it looks that incredible.

Pinhead is the main villain of the Hellraiser horror film series and is the leader of a group called the Cenobites - ex-human monsters from another dimension who attack Earth for the souls of its residents. Highly intelligent and creepy as hell, Pinhead is actually a creation of Clive Barker (Candyman), first appearing in one of his novellas from the '80s. He's inspired by Christopher Lee's portrayal of Count Dracula.

If you're a collector and a fan of Hellraiser, Sideshow unveiled this week the new Pinhead figure, thankfully based on the design from 1992's Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth which features Bradley. Fans will know that 2011's Hellraiser: Revelations had to recast and put Stephan Smith Collins in the Pinhead role and it didn't quite work out. This Pinhead figure is the first Hellraiser product for Sideshow and is now available for pre-order. Click here for more info and how to enter a contest to win one!

We don't know the details yet on what accessories the figure comes with but after having had a closer look at several other premium figures from Sideshow Collectibles including Catwoman, Nathan Drake from Uncharted, Iron Man and more in our contests and at Comic-Con, we expect a few cool things.

The last we heard on Hellraiser was that Clive Barker was planning on rebooting the series with... wait for it... the original actor Doug Bradley back as Pinhead.

In other Sideshow Collectibles news the company is beginning to offer art prints along with their figures. And if you missed it in September, they also have an amazing Deadpool figure up for pre-order!
