Dark Horse Comics' Hellboy is easily one of the most powerful comic book characters with a demonic origin and it's no surprise he's the center of attention in the Hellboy Universe. But when B.P.R.D. agent Roger uses his abilities to prevent cosmic demons from laying waste to Earth, he proves that he also deserves the same amount of recognition as Anung Un Rama.

Hellboy - the creature spawned from the fiery pits of Hell - is obviously the main attraction in the Hellboy Universe as he's a world-renowned demon-hunter with a heart of gold because he possesses the ability to bring about the end of the world and yet, he believes humanity is worth saving. And when he's not bashing malicious beasts' with his Right Hand Of Doom, he's generally delivering some witty banter to his foes as well as his fellow B. P. R. D. agents. But Hellboy is not the only hero in the Hellboy Universe who deserves a great deal of attention as the B.P.R.D. agent Roger  - a humanoid creature spawned from blood and herbs as well as brewed in a container full of horse manure - saves the world from becoming a heap of ash in Mike Mignola, Dave Stewart, Pat Brosseau, and Scott Allie's Hellboy: Conqueror Worm #4.

After a cosmic demon and being called the Conqueror Worm arrives on Earth after being summoned by the Nazi scientist Herman von Klempt, Hellboy and Roger attempt to find a way to destroy it before it consumes every living organism on the planet and beckons its siblings the Ogdru Hem as well as the Ogdru Jahad to come to Earth and turn the surface of the planet to ash - ultimately bringing about Earth's Ragnarok. After Hellboy tries and fails to destroy the worm with a grenade, Roger remembers what the ghost of Nazi hunter Lobster Johnson tells him about his potential and tells Hellboy that he can consume the Conqueror Worm and hold it captive inside him till they can figure out a way to destroy it. After Hellboy hesitates to agree, Roger follows through with the plan anyway and Hellboy admits that Roger is a better man than he is.

After Roger uses his bio-electricity manipulation abilities to consume the Conqueror Worm, Hellboy tries to help him to fight the worm from within as it attempts to corrupt Roger's mind. But while Hellboy is trying to encourage Roger to fight the Conqueror Worm, the head of Herman von Klempt arrives in his small robotic body and tries to unleash the Worm from Roger's body. And because Roger would rather die than see the Conqueror Worm live, he grabs a hold of Klempt and jumps off the cliffside - nearly killing himself while destroying Klempt in the process. With the help of Lobster Johnson, Hellboy is able to destroy the Conqueror Worm inside of Roger as well as revive his motionless body.

Although Hellboy has saved the world as well as countless lives on numerous occasions from demonic spirits as well as cosmic beings, it's clear that Roger deserves just as much recognition. Though, it's possible that the reason he doesn't get the attention he deserves because his role within the Hellboy Universe is short-lived.
