The new Hellboy reboot, which stars David Harbour and is directed by Neil Marshall, has a lot to live up to in the eyes of fans. The original 2004 movie, directed by the visionary Guillermo Del Toro (The Shape Of Water) and starring Ron Perlman (Sons Of Anarchy) is iconic for many Hellboy fans and is an essential purchase for even the most casual fan.

In 2007 and 2008, two Hellboy animated movies were released in order to capitalize on the buzz of the upcoming live-action movie sequel Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Unusually for an animated spin-off, the core cast from the movies all returned to voice their characters: Ron Perlman, Selma Blair (as Liz Sherman), Doug Jones (as Abe Sapian) and even legendary British actor John Hurt (as Professor Broom).
The movies (Sword Of Storms and Blood & Iron) are great fun, featuring charmingly ghoulish animation and genuinely top-notch stories.
HELLBOY: THE BOARD GAME
In April 2018, Mantic Games (a board game manufacturer from Nottingham in the UK) launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a Hellboy board game. The project raised over $1.5 million dollars from 12,716 backers, making it an incredibly successful campaign that spoke to how many hardcore Hellboy fans there are out there in the world.
The game is now available for wider purchase and is a must-have collector's item for fans. It is a fully cooperative experience for 1 to 4 players and features incredibly detailed, pre-assembled PVC plastic miniatures that capture the unique look and feel of Mike Mignola’s visionary work.

At a whopping 408 pages, it's a bargain for less than $20, and is a superb introduction to a whole different aspect of the Hellboy world.
This first book explores the B.P.R.D. after Hellboy quits, leaving Abe Sapien, Liz Sherman, and a bizarre roster of special agents to defend the world from any occult threats and the growing menace of the frog army. It also reveals Abe's origin for the first time.
HELLBOY B.P.R.D. T-SHIRT
This officially licensed T-shirt features the iconic B.P.R.D. logo and would look great on anyone who wants to pretend they are a member of the super-secret organization (or just wants to show the world they're a Hellboy fan, in a semi-subtle way).
