A new cosplay of Thor's MCU sister Hela has given her the perfect outfit for the Hellfire Gala. For the past two years, one of Marvel's biggest events is the Hellfire Gala, which sees fan-favorite heroes get dressed up in their best suits and dresses as the X-Men use the stage on Krakoa to make meaningful social change and celebrate mutantkind. This has led to some of the most unique looks for classic characters that have wowed fans all over. Some of the most notable have included a Sailor Moon-inspired outfit for Gwenpool and a royal makeover for Doctor Doom. These gorgeous redesigns have inspired comic fans to create their own takes on Hellfire Gala looks, and one cosplay for Hela is an absolute standout.Shared on Twitter by photographer DTJAAAAM, this photo features the cosplayer Jordan Blaza Olsen (@girlgreatsmile) as the iconic Asgardian villainess Hela, wearing a stunning outfit that would fit perfectly with the styles on display at the annual Hellfire Gala. This look features Hela's signature horns forming an elegant backdrop to emphasize her gorgeous green dress.

It's a design that absolutely screams the villain's signature style and was actually inspired by fan art from artist Mark Brooks for his "Party Crashers" series. The art is brilliantly represented by @girlgreatsmile with its exceptional attention-to-detail and overall beautiful design.

Hela's Hellfire Look Proves Villains Should Attend More Often

First created by Jack Kirby, Hela has been making wave among Marvel fans over the past few years since her appearance in 2017's Thor: Ragnarok. She's best known as the sister of Thor Odinson and the goddess of death who has powerful abilities that can easily kill an Asgardian. Fans were won over by the character when she was depicted in the movies by Cate Blanchett, whose performance inspired a new age of fans to seek her out in the comics. Blanchett will return as Hela in What If...? season two.

What this cosplay for Thor's villainous sister Hela shows is that she and the other evil forces in the Marvel Universe should find their way to Marvel's biggest party every year. While there have certainly been some antiheroes like Namor and even select villains like Doctor Doom in attendance, cosplays like @girlgreatsmile's prove that the villains could rival and possibly outdo their competition. Every villain has something about them to make sure they're set apart from others, so there are so many interesting ways that Marvel could depict them in outlandish fancy attire. In fact, Mark Brooks has even showcased just how this could work out with other villains in his Party Crashers series that feature Venom as he attends with Mary Jane.

While it's uncertain if villains like Hela will attend future Galas as the event continues to gain traction in the comics, this cosplay featuring the Goddess of Death is a good starting point for Marvel to get inspiration of what her attire would look like. The way that this outfit uses what's best known about her while changing things up to fit the elegant fashion theme of the gala is perfection that should not be ignored. With 2023's Hellfire Gala just around the corner, if Thor's MCU sister gets an opportunity to show up, this cosplay is a fantastic starting point to showing just how Hela can make an entrance.
