The full trailer for Heels sheds light on the show’s sibling rivalry. Unfolding in a close Georgia community, Heels revolves around the world of small-town professional wrestling. The drama, which is created by Loki writer Michael Waldron, with Mike O’Malley serving as showrunner, focuses on a family-owned wrestling promotion and the two brothers (played by Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig) who go to war over their late father’s legacy.

Ahead of its arrival on Starz in August, Heels had already unveiled a teaser that offered glimpses of Amell and Ludwig. With the release of a full trailer, viewers now have an extended look at the two brothers and their animosity in and out of the wrestling ring. The preview also widens its lens to include other characters, such as a valet that wants to prove her abilities as a wrestler. You can check out the full trailer, from STARZ, below.

Along with Amell and Ludwig, who are coming off of their leading roles in Arrow and Vikings, respectively, Heels also stars Alison Luff (New Amsterdam), Mary McCormack (The West Wing), Kelli Berglund (Now Apocalypse), Allen Maldonado (The Last O.G.), and True Blood’s Chris Bauer. JAG alum David James Elliott will also appear, portraying the brothers’ father.

Fans, along with Amell, who hasn’t yet seen finished episodes, will have to wait a little longer for the debut of Heels. The show will premiere on Sunday, August 15. But before then, the wrestling drama will have a presence at Comic-Con@Home 2021. The panel, which takes place on Friday, July 23 at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT, will include a sneak peek of the upcoming series.
