The He-Man and The Masters of The Multiverse comic hit the ground running as quickly as fans had hoped, uniting various versions of Eternia's champion from across the multiverse. The threat driving both their retreat and their mission is the grotesque and evil Anti-He-Man, scourge of Anti-Eternia, now picking his way across dimensions to slaughter his heroic doppelgangers and claim their power as his own. The only thing standing in his way is a mighty alliance of He-Men pulled from films, animation, mobile gaming, and now in our exclusive preview of He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse #2, the spacebound versions of He-Man, too. If you grew up watching The New Adventures of He-Man... this issue is going to stir up some long forgotten feelings.
Despite what some readers might assume, the six-issue series is taking each and every incarnation of Prince Adam seriously. That's proven in the newest issue, when the 'space He-Man' leading the animated series is given his own spotlight in the story, along with his familiar allies. But if the heroes are relying on a not-yet-villainous version of Skeletor to be the deciding factor in their quest, this preview won't instill much confidence. An evil Skeletor is definitely bad... but he's also powerful, too. Here's hoping Anti-He-Man isn't following too close behind.
