March 2022 marks the addition of several highly anticipated TV show premieres and streaming movie debuts on HBO Max. After Warner Bros.' large slate of movie releases in fall 2021, many of these films are either returning after their initial HBO Max premieres or finally making their streaming debuts on the service in March. Alongside HBO Max’s upcoming movie titles, March 2022 will see the long-awaited series and season premieres of HBO TV shows and original HBO Max programming.
The slate of films and TV shows from HBO Max’s February 2022 additions made the service an exciting hot spot for subscribers. Alongside the season finales of And Just Like That, Peacemaker, and Euphoria, HBO Max saw the season premieres of Raised By Wolves and The Girl Before in February. February 2022 was a significant month for HBO Max’s movie acquisitions, which included the exclusive streaming premiere of Steven Soderbergh’s KIMI as well as the streaming debuts of 2021 movies Nightmare Alley, The King’s Man, Free Guy, and The French Dispatch.
While March 2022 will see the theatrical premiere of Warner Bros.’ The Batman movie, subscribers shouldn’t expect it to land on HBO Max until much later. Rather, March 2022 will allow subscribers to catch up on many of the 2022 Best Picture nominees for their HBO Max streaming returns or debuts, including Drive My Car (March 2), Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story (March 2), Dune (March 10), and King Richard (March 24). The most highly anticipated original HBO Max content coming in March 2022 includes the series premieres of Taika Waititi's Our Flag Means Death (March 3), Adam McKay’s Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (March 6), Ava DuVernay's DMZ (March 17) and the exclusive streaming premiere of Warner Bros.’ sci-fi movie Moonshot (March 31).
