Marvel Studios reveals a new Hawkeye poster offering new looks a Clint Barton and Kate Bishop's costumes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld lead the series as the former Avenger archer and his new protégé being trained to take over the titular mantle. Alongside Renner and Steinfeld, the cast for Hawkeye includes Vera Farmiga as Kate's mom Eleanor, Fra Free as mercenary Kazi, Tony Dalton as Clint's former mentor Jack Duquesnes, Linda Cardellini as Clint's wife Laura, Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, aka Echo, Zahn McClarnon as her father William and Florence Pugh as Black Widow's Yelena Belova.

The story for Hawkeye takes place sometime after the events of Avengers: Endgame as Clint brings his kids to New York City for a fun holiday vacation, their first since The Blip. The vacation is upended, however, as enemies from Clint's past as Ronin come back for revenge, leading him to team up with Hawkeye super fan Kate to take them down so he can get home in time for Christmas. Having concluded filming earlier this year, Hawkeye is gearing up to hit Disney+ this month with a two-episode debut.

With just two weeks to go until the series' premiere, Marvel Studios took to Twitter to debut a new Hawkeye poster. The latest key art sees Clint and Kate ready for action in their purple superhero costumes, surrounded by targets designed to look like Christmas tree ornaments for the show's holiday setting. The new Hawkeye poster is sure to build further anticipation for the latest Disney+ MCU series with its better look at Clint and Kate's superhero costumes and the Christmas-themed targets surrounding the duo. The key art also serves as a nice homage to Matt Fraction's Hawkeye comic books, for which the series takes heavy inspiration from, in its color palette, gritty white background ad the featuring of multiple targets throughout. Amidst the many things Fraction's run with the hero brought, his deeper exploration of the archer's hearing issues was one of the more praised elements that Renner confirms will be seen in the show.

Coming on the heels of fellow live-action shows WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, audiences have set a pretty high bar for  Hawkeye, namely for its debut of fan-favorite character Kate Bishop. As evidenced by the various trailers and TV spots, the series will offer a lower-stakes story than that of its predecessors, a change of pace many are already welcoming, and plenty of humor while offering its titular heroes the opportunity to develop and grow. Only time will tell whether the show can live up to fans' expectations when Hawkeye hits Disney+ on November 24.
