Though he seemingly met his end, Hawkeye star Fra Fee has shared his thoughts on his finale fate and Marvel Cinematic Universe future. The MCU series is set one year after the events of Avengers: Endgame as Clint Barton takes a long-awaited vacation with his family in New York City for Christmas. His holiday trip falls apart when Hawkeye fan Kate Bishop inadvertently draws the ire of Barton's enemies from his Ronin past, requiring him to clean up her mess so he can get back to his family in time for the holiday.

Jeremy Renner led the cast of Hawkeye in the titular role alongside MCU newcomers Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Tony Dalton, Fra Fee, Brian d'Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga and Zahn McClarnon, The series also featured the MCU returns of Linda Cardellini as Clint's wife Laura, Florence Pugh as Black Widow's Yelena and Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin from Netflix's Daredevil seriesHawkeye scored largely positive reviews from critics for its smaller-scale story, chemistry between Renner and Steinfeld and character development, and with the show setting up a variety of MCU futures, one star is eager to get in on the fun.

In a recent interview with Attitude, Fra Fee opened up about Kazi's finale fate in Disney+'s Hawkeye and his potential MCU future. The actor expressed his uncertainty on any concrete plans for his character while noting his NDA contract, but shared his hope in coming back to the comic book franchise. See what Fee said below:

“Erm, the truth is, I don’t really know just yet. But I very much hope that Kazi can make an appearance. I wouldn’t put money on the fact he met an untimely end at the end of Hawkeye. No one’s ever dead in Marvel. I would be very hopeful and I’d certainly be thrilled to revisit the character and the world — I had such a good time.”

The final episodes of Hawkeye revealed that Kazi was involved with the death of Echo's father, having been ordered by Kingpin to be absent on the night of his death to allow Ronin to kill her dad. Clint would help Echo learn of this, resulting in her turning on both Kazi and Kingpin in the show's action-packed finale in Times Square. Echo would seemingly kill Kazi in a one-on-one fight between the two while her final confrontation with Kingpin saw the camera conveniently pan away as a gunshot echoed out.

Though Kazi's finale fate seemed more definitive than Kingpin's in the show, there does seem to be a number of paths still available for Hawkeye's Fra Fee to return in the future. With Alaqua Cox getting her own Echo spinoff series to explore the character's origin story and time after the previous MCU series, it does seem possible Kazi cold appear in the upcoming show, be it through a flashback or revelation of his survival, especially with McClarnon returning as Maya's father and both Charlie Cox's Daredevil and D'Onofrio's Kingpin rumored to appear. While audiences await word of his return, they can see Fee's MCU debut as Kazi with Hawkeye available to stream in its entirety on Disney+ now.
