Hailee Steinfeld says she’s so excited for the release of Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye on Disney+. Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has dominated the small screen this year with WandaVisionThe Falcon and the Winter SoldierLoki, and, now, What If…? Following the latter animated series, Marvel will return to live-action for its next show, Hawkeye, which will see Jeremy Renner reprise his role as Clint Barton with Steinfeld as his archery understudy, Kate Bishop.

Following her panel debut in 2005, the character of Bishop has become a fan favorite. Matt Fraction and David Aja’s 2013 solo series, My Life As a Weapon, following Barton’s avenging in the streets of New York City as well as outlining his first meeting with Bishop and her training alongside a charming dog, is one of the very best Hawkeye comics. That being said, Marvel Studios seems to be loosely adapting this run given the introduction of Bishop and inclusion of Lucky the Pizza Dog. Aside from that, plot details remain characteristically under wraps. However, Bishop will likely inherit the mantle of “Hawkeye” in the series, which is set to premiere on Disney+ on November 24th.

During New York Fashion Week, Steinfeld was stopped by E! News and asked about the upcoming Hawkeye series. While she wasn’t able to say much, the actress expressed her excitement at its premiere date being just around the corner. Check it out below:

As was the case with Loki and is with What If…?, Hawkeye will release new episodes every Wednesday. The series will also star Vera Farmiga as Bishop’s mother, Eleanor, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d'Arcy James, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, and Fra Fee as new characters. Piggybacking off of Black Widow’s post-credits scene, which put Yelena Belova on a collision course with Barton, Florence Pugh will reprise her role for the series. As mentioned in the video above, Hawkeye's promotional campaign will be in full swing very soon.

Ms. Marvel is also expected to premiere by the end of the year and, like Hawkeye, will consist of six episodesWhat If…?’s season finale will premiere in early October, leaving fans with around a month to crave more Marvel before the theatrical release of Eternals on November 5th and then Hawkeye later in the month. Because Hawkeye has never had his own solo project, audiences are just as excited as Steinfeld to see him (presumably) ride off into the proverbial sunset after championing a new hero.
