A new Hawkeye video puts the spotlight on newcomer Echo and her incredible fighting skills. The MCU's latest Disney+ series, Hawkeye, is officially halfway through its 6-episode run, and things are really heating up. The show follows Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) as he tries to get back to his family in time to celebrate Christmas. However, his plans have been thrown to the wayside as he gets tangled up in a conflict involving aspiring hero Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). So far, Hawkeye has seen the reluctant partners fight off the Tracksuit Mafia and dig into a murder mystery.

The most recent episode of Hawkeye, "Echoes," furthered Clint and Kate's relationship in a major way, but it also served as an introduction to the MCU's newest scene-stealer, Alaqua Cox's Echo, aka Maya Lopez. The Daredevil character made her first onscreen appearance at the end of Hawkeye episode 2, but it was the following installment that revealed more about her. A trained fighter from a young age, Echo has held a grudge against Clint's vigilante persona Ronin ever since she saw him kill her father. Now that Kate has inadvertently revived Ronin, Echo is out for blood.

Maya made quite an impact on audiences in her first full Hawkeye episode, and a new video from the show's official social media account keeps the hype going in a major way. The video features highlights from Hawkeye episode 3, specifically from her hand-to-hand fight with Clint. In case anyone doubted her skills, this video puts that debate to rest. Check it out below.

Even before she arrived on the small screen, Maya made a big name for herself when she scored her own spin-off. Echo was officially confirmed by Marvel during the recent Disney+ Day event, and though it doesn't have a tentative release window in mind, Cox confirmed this summer that casting for the series was underway. The remaining three Hawkeye episodes can shine a light on what lies ahead for Echo in her own show, but for now, fans will just have to content themselves with seeing her take on Clint and Kate.

Based on the trailer for Hawkeye episode 4, Echo won't be the only person going after the archers. A masked figure was glimpsed in the trailer, and many believe Black Widow's Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) will finally made her Hawkeye debut this week. While Yelena could eventually prove to be an ally, it remains to be seen if Echo will ever align herself with the heroes. For now, she stands against them, but with those fighting skills of hers, one has to hope she'll someday use them to aid Clint and Kate.
