Kate Bishop is already taking on the forces of evil in the new Hawkeye streaming series, running afoul of the Tracksuit Mafia and other mysterious criminal forces. Her opponents are likely to get worse and worse in the MCU as she moves forward, since Kate Bishop has faced some of the most powerful supervillains in Marvel Comics during her time as Hawkeye.

As a member of the Young Avengers, the West Coast Avengers, and on her own, Kate Bishop has squared off against the likes of Kang the Conqueror and Doctor Doom. She's likely to face some of them in the MCU as she progresses in the franchise, and may even cross paths with some major villains before the end of her first streaming series.

Derek Bishop

The Masters of Evil West Coast convene in Marvel Comics.

One of Kate Bishop's most powerful villains in Marvel Comics is her father, Derek Bishop. In the comics, it's her mother who dies and her father who survives. Derek is ultimately revealed to be a member of the Masters Of Evil West Coast, which includes MODOK and Madam Masque. He is a businessman with major ties to the criminal underworld.

Wealthy and influential, he has no powers but is one of the most connected figures in the comics. The MCU seems to have swapped the roles of Derek and Eleanor Bishop, with Derek dying in the Battle Of New York in 2012 and Eleanor being the head of a security firm that seems to have some loose connections to less than reputable forces.

Madame Masque

Madame Masque shoots a few men in Marvel Comics.

Madame Masque is a ruthless assassin who stands a very good chance of appearing in Hawkeye thanks to her association with the 2011 Hawkeye comic book by writer Matt Fraction and artist David Aja, a run that has heavily inspired the show. One of the best martial artists in Marvel Comics, Madame Masque is a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant.

She's also trained in a variety of weapons, relying mostly on guns and knives. She's a master strategist, making her very dangerous as a villain, though Kate was able to impersonate her and bring down her criminal ring in the comic book.

Lady Bullseye

Lady Bullseye prepares to attack in Marvel Comics.

Lady Bullseye is as skilled a martial artist as Madame Masque, trained in various forms and techniques. She's also a master assassin, a skill she picked up from Bullseye, one of the coolest Daredevil villains in Marvel Comics. Though Lady Bullseye has no superpowers, she's generally accepted to be faster on the draw than Bullseye himself.

Lady Bullseye is a dark inverse of Kate Bishop. Lady Bullseye was as much a fan of Bullseye as Kate was of Hawkeye. Both followed in the footsteps of their idols, leading to very different outcomes for both women.

Kingpin

The Kingpin smiling maliciously in Marvel comics.

Comic book fans know the Kingpin is one of the most powerful figures in the criminal underworld of Marvel Comics. While he has no superpowers, he's incredibly strong and durable. He's also an expert fighter, trained in numerous martial arts, including judo and karate.

As the nominal head of the criminal underworld in New York City, he's the force behind the Tracksuit Mafia, Echo, and numerous other characters in the comics, making him very plausible as the big bad in the Hawkeye series.

Norman Osborn

Norman Osborn and the Dark Avengers assemble in Marvel Comics.

Norman Osborn is best known to fans as the Green Goblin. But during his time as the Iron Patriot and leader of the Dark Avengers, he became one of Kate Bishop's most powerful enemies. In the Iron Patriot suit, Osborn was encased in armor that made him virtually indestructible.

The Iron Patriot also possessed a number of laser and energy weapons, missiles, flame throwers, and more offensive weapons. He could also fly and could even absorb the powers of others. Norman Osborn is coming to the MCU in the form of the Willem Dafoe version from the 2002 Spider-Man movie, making it at least possible Kate will face the Dark Avengers from the comics.

The Mandarin

The Mandarin wields his ten rings in Marvel Comics.

By virtue of the Ten Rings, The Mandarin is one of the most powerful supervillains in Marvel Comics. Each individual ring possesses a different power, allowing him to generate electricity, control the minds of others, as well as shoot flames or blasts of ice.

Beyond the Ten Rings, The Mandarin is one of the most intelligent and cunning villains in the comics. He operates a vast criminal organization that like in the MCU, has deep ties to other characters and villains Kate is likely to encounter.

Skrulls

Skrulls impersonate Marvel heroes in Secret Invasion comic book.

The Skrulls are among the most dangerous alien species in Marvel Comics. These shape-shifting aliens can impersonate any living being, making them natural spies incredibly hard to detect. They're also armed with powerful alien technology that is far beyond even the most advanced tech on Earth.

Kate Bishop and the Young Avengers faced off against a major Skrull invasion in the Secret Invasion storyline in the comics, and she'll likely be drafted into duty in the upcoming Secret Invasion streaming series if it follows the plot of the comics.

Enchantress (Sylvie Lushton)

The Enchantress (Sylvie Lushton) embraces Wiccan in Marvel Comics.

Kate Bishop has also fought one of the most powerful magicians in Marvel Comics, in the form of The Enchantress. This version was Sylvie Lushton, the second Enchantress, who inspired in part Sylvie in the Loki MCU series. She is able to 'enchant' people to do her bidding, cast illusions, and perform feats of powerful magic.

Though it's revealed Sylvie was once human who came by her powers thanks to Loki in the comics, she does possess the superhuman strength, stamina, and speed of a typical Asgardian like Amora, the first Enchantress.

Kang The Conqueror

Kang The Conqueror prepares to attack in Marvel Comics.

One of the earliest villains Kate Bishop faced in the comics was one of the most powerful variants of Kang the Conqueror. While he doesn't have superpowers as such, Kang is extremely powerful thanks to his futuristic suit of battle armor. He's protected from most forms of attack, and he's able to generate powerful energy beams and force fields.

Kang's ability to time travel and manipulate the course of history makes him one of the most powerful and dangerous villains in all of Marvel Comics. Kate Bishop will no doubt cross paths with him in the MCU as Kang variants proliferate.

Doctor Doom

Doctor-Doom-Alex-Ross-Header

Doctor Doom is one of the most powerful Marvel Comics supervillains. A brilliant inventor and one of the most potent magicians in Marvel, he's a major threat who has literally destroyed entire universes when he possessed the cosmic power of the Beyonder.

She helped fight against God Emperor Doom during the 2015 Secret Wars event, but Kate Bishop was actually an ally of sorts of Doom in the Ultimate Comics universe of Earth-1610, where she and her parents were agents of Hydra.
