Hawkeyes Kate Bishop and Lucky the Pizza Dog have now been added to Funko Pop!'s superhero packed collection. Funko Pop! recently added Clint Barton's Hawkeye to their catalog, allowing preorders for the MCU's resident archer right before the Disney+ series kicked off on November 24th. When announced, though, there was no mention of when his counterpart’s funky collectible would be expected.

In Disney+’s Hawkeye, Barton partners with a young arrow slinging protege, Kate Bishop, as the pair confront enemies from Barton’s past in the middle of the holiday season. Viewers were introduced to the one-eyed, pizza loving golden retriever, Lucky, in the Disney+ series’s first episode after Bishop prevents Lucky from a horrible fate with a taxi. Lucky the Pizza Dog was first introduced in the Hawkeye comics by Matt Fraction and David Aja, and has been a fan favorite ever since. The lovable lab is portrayed on screen by Jolt, who has been winning over hearts both on screen and on social media since the show first aired.

Funko Pop! is now offering an opportunity to preorder their latest installment in the Hawkeye collection, with the release of Kate Bishop and Lucky the Pizza Dog exclusive Funko Pops. Bishop can be seen sporting a purple and black latex suit to match Barton’s, with an adorable version of the lovable, furry sidekick to complete their crime-fighting trio. Preorders for the Kate Bishop and Lucky the Pizza Dog Funko Pop! collectibles are now available at Entertainment Earth and will release in February 2022.

Bishop was first introduced in 2005’s Young Avengers, having been a loner with a mostly absent father before being mentored by her hero, Clint Barton. Disney+’s Hawkeye is Bishop’s first live-action appearance, with Hailee Steinfeld taking on the principal role. Jeremy Renner is back to play Hawkeye/Barton, with Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Zahn McClaron, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James and Alaqua Cox among the cast. Florence Pugh is also set to join the cast to reprise her revenge-bent Black Widow character, Yelena Belova, but the details surrounding when Belova will appear is still unknown. The first two episodes of the series were released on November 24th, with four more episodes to follow to complete the first season.

It's speculated that the introduction of Bishop into the MCU with Disney+’s Hawkeye could open the door for Bishop to take over the Hawkeye name from Barton as a way of passing on the arrow-pierced torch. The storyline addition of Lucky the Pizza Dog in the Disney+ series is already a little different than how it was told in the comics, as originally Barton was the one who found Lucky. The added detail of Bishop being the one to find Lucky could be foreshadowing that she will be Hawkeye before the series is all said and done. No matter who the Hawkeye side kick belongs to in this universe, fans can’t help but love the pizza eating, enemy fighting trio in Marvel’s latest action-packed hit.
