For Halloween 2021, Jeremy Renner suits up as Hawkeye. The actor joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe all the way back in 2011's Thor, but he wasn't properly introduced until 2012's The Avengers. Now, a decade since his first appearance, Renner becomes his superhero persona in real life for this year's Halloween.

As part of the MCU's original Avengers, Clint Barton is one of the three remaining founding Marvel characters who has survived the events of the Infinity Saga. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) both died in an effort to fight Thanos (Josh Brolin), while Captain America (Chris Evans) decided to go back in time and retire. That leaves the franchise with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Hawkeye. Each one of them is set to spearhead their respective projects. The God of Thunder will headline Taika Waititi's Thor: Love and Thunder. Bruce Banner's story continues in She-Hulk and the rumored World War Hulk film. Meanwhile, Clint will star in the upcoming Disney+ series, Hawkeye which will debut on the platform this November.

But before Renner suits up on the small screen as his MCU character, he does just that for Halloween. In both an Instagram video and a photo on his story, Renner reveals that he's back in his Hawkeye costume for his daughter and her friends. Check out the video below:

Unfortunately, the video is so quick that there's barely any time to check out Renner's costume. On top of that, there's also no full shot that shows the whole outfit. Nonetheless, the close-up image of the Hawkeye costume as well as his bow and arrow is very cool to see. It's worth noting that the actor previously said that he will be suiting up as Hawkeye as a surprise for his daughter. The plan was to show up wearing the superhero costume at her elementary school. This video seems to be taken before he left the house, and now it'll curious to see if there will be additional content from the rest of his plan. In any case, considering the fact that he's just been filming for the Hawkeye TV show, it's safe to say it was fairly easy to get access to his full get-up.

Then again, if there are not going to be any follow-up social media posts, fans won't have to wait that long to see the actor back as the Avengers' resident marksman anyway. Hawkeye is all set up to release this November, and it will premiere with a special two-episode offering. From there, however, it's unknown what's going to be next for Hawkeye in the MCU.
