Stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld take aim for the Hawkeye marksman challenge in a fun new video for the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. Renner and Steinfeld lead the cast of the fifth installment in Disney+'s MCU line-up, with the latter making their debut as Kate Bishop, alongside Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/Echo, Tony Dalton, Vera Farmiga, Brian d'Arcy James, Fra Fee, Linda Cardellini, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk and Zahn McClarnon. Hawkeye also saw the returns of Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin.

Developed by Jonathan Igla, Hawkeye is set sometime after the events of Avengers: Endgame as Clint Barton tries to resume a normal life with his family by taking his kids for a family holiday vacation in New York. His plans are upended when Hawkeye superfan Kate Bishop inadvertently draws the ire of enemies from Barton's past as Ronin, requiring him to take her under his wing and put a stop to them all while striving to get home in time for Christmas. Hawkeye has seen rave reviews from critics and audiences since premiering in November and now fans are getting a little extra treat for the holidays.

On the heels of the show's finale, Marvel has unveiled a new Hawkeye video seeing stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld take the marksman challenge. The two compete in a number of challenges putting their aim to the test, including throwing darts at a board full of balloons, a game of cornhole and more. Check out the fun video below:

As seen in the series and in the lead up to its release, Steinfeld's Kate Bishop is plenty capable when it comes to her archery skills, even if a bit too braggadocious about her talents. The Hawkeye video certainly falls in line with her work as the comic character, offering plenty of witty retorts and trash talk to her co-star while ultimately losing the marksman challenge to the more veteran hero. The video also serves as a good indicator of the skills the two have picked up in their time playing both Kate and Hawkeye, with Renner remarkably hitting a target with the Nerf bow and arrow without even looking.

One of the biggest points of acclaim for Hawkeye since its premiere has been the comedic chemistry between Renner and Steinfeld in their roles and the marksman challenge video shows its extent to off-camera as much as on. With the show's finale leaving the door wide open for both stars to return to the MCU as partners, one can only hope they get the opportunity to let this chemistry shine further down the road. In the meantime, audiences can catch up with the entirety of Hawkeye season 1 on Disney+ now.
