Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop gets a comics accurate costume in this new piece of Hawkeye fan art. For the first time since his introduction in 2011's Thor, Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) will become the star of his own story within the MCU with Hawkeye. The Disney+ series is slated to premiere in late 2021 and will follow Clint after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Additional plot details are still being kept under wraps, but the series will also feature characters like Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and Daredevil character Echo (Alaqua Cox). Perhaps most excitingly, though, Hawkeye will introduce Young Avenger Kate Bishop.

Kate's involvement in Hawkeye was confirmed when the series itself was announced. What followed was over a year of speculation about who would be cast as the young archer. Finally, set photos confirmed Oscar nominee Steinfeld will play Kate for the MCU, something that was later cemented by MCU boss Kevin Feige. While official looks at Steinfeld as Kate have been few and far between, numerous photos and videos from the set have granted fans looks at Steinfeld's superhero costume, which is often a particular point of interest for those familiar with the source material.

With many eager to see more of Steinfeld's Kate, several fans have come up with art pieces imagining what she'll look like in the role. The latest design comes from Christ Ave, who has created both a dark background and a light one to complement the familiar purple suit. Steinfeld also sports Kate's typical sunglasses and band aids on her face. Check out the pieces down below.

Steinfeld commented recently on her excitement about bringing a comics accurate Kate to life, and based on the early set photos, it looks like Hawkeye will be sticking close to the source material when it comes to its newest hero. Hawkeye will see Clint pass the baton over to Kate, who seems poised to appear in future MCU projects going forward. Obviously, it's impossible to say exactly how well Steinfeld will do in the role at this point in time, but fans are feeling good about her prospects so far.

As Hawkeye isn't slated to debut until much later next year, fans will have to wait a while longer before they see anything official regarding Kate. A quick sliver of Hawkeye footage was revealed during Disney's Investor Day, but audiences shouldn't expect anything else for a while, especially because Marvel is gearing up for its other Disney+ premieres. Nevertheless, there's a great deal of excitement surrounding Steinfeld's MCU debut. Hopefully it won't disappoint.
