A new clip from Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye shows Clint and Kate’s fiery fight with the Tracksuit Mafia. The fourth live-action series to take place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe will see Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton/Hawkeye finally receive a solo treatment. However, he won’t be entirely alone, as the series introduces Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, a young Hawkeye super fan poised to inherit the archer’s mantel thanks to her own skills with a bow and arrow. Created by Johnathan Igla, Hawkeye is heavily inspired by Matt Fraction and David Aja’s popular comic, My Life As A Weapon. The show’s cast also includes Florence Pugh as Black Widow's Yelena Belova, Alaqua Cox as Echo, Fra Fee as The Clown, Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, and Brian d’Arcy James.

Taking place after Avengers: EndgameHawkeye sees Clint goes to New York City to see a Captain America-based musical with his family. Unfortunately, he becomes sidetracked by his Ronin persona, which has been embraced by Kate. In addition to its setting and leads, the series will also incorporate Clint’s hearing loss, Lucky the Pizza Dog, Kazimierz “Kazi” Kazimierczak/The Clown, and the Tracksuit Draculas/Tracksuit Mafia from Fraction’s and Aja’s comic. In previous trailers for Hawkeye, the latter European gang has been shown throwing a molotov cocktail at Clint, who then catches it and throws it back at his attackers, but viewers have otherwise not had a good look at the group.

Now, a new clip from Hawkeye (via Hawkeye News & Updates) has dropped online showing more of that interaction. The clip sees Clint and Kate in a warehouse with the Tracksuit Mafia throwing molotov cocktails at them from the outside. In this extended clip, audiences can see the fallout from the fiery fight, as the warehouse the pair are taking shelter in begins to be consumed by flames. Check it out below:

The Tracksuit Mafia play a pivotal role in Fraction and Aja’s comic series. While Marvel and the team behind Hawkeye have all been tight-lipped about who the main villain/threat of the series will be, the Tracksuit Mafia and their distinctive red tracksuits (except for their boss, Ivan, who wears a blue tracksuit), are sure to be a persistent annoyance. In the comics, a member of the gang known as “The Clown” stabs Clint in the ears with arrows, rupturing his eardrums, provoking Hawkeye's struggle with hearing loss.

It’s unclear if the series will see Clint lose his hearing this way or another. However, it's interesting to note that Hawkeye is also set to feature the deaf hero Echo (Alaqua Cox), who will surely aid Clint before spinning off into her own Disney+ series. Whether or not the Tracksuit Mafia are ultimately behind Clint's hearing loss in Marvel's Hawkeye or not, the series seems to be doing its best to honor Fraction and Aja's iconic comic book storyline, so fans are unlikely to be disappointed.
