The miniseries features returning fan favorites and exciting new characters who show their power in a variety of contexts. Though not all of them are likely to return to future MCU projects, fans can get excited about the ones who will continue to play an important role.

Tomas

Tomas talks to Kate Bishop in Hawkeye

Though much of Tomas's appearance in Hawkeye is played for comedic effect, he is one of the members of the Tracksuit Mafia, which presents a consistent threat to the main protagonists as the series goes on.

He does not have much combat prowess, being incapacitated in several battles throughout the series without much effort. While he is not a leader in the criminal organization, he appears to be trusted by many of its members, accompanying Ivan and Maya in various situations.

Ivan Banionis

Something viewers should know about the Tracksuit Mafia is that they play a major role in certain parts of the comics. With their inclusion in Hawkeye, one of the most intimidating lower-level members of the organization, Ivan Banionis, has a chance to show his strength.

While he does not seem to hold an extensive amount of power in the Tracksuit Mafia, he is a relatively skilled combatant, displaying the damage he can cause in several action scenes in the season. He is often outclassed as a fighter when battling one-on-one, but among his peers, he is one of the more fearsome.

Kazi Kazimierczak

When it comes to combat skills, Kazi is not among the best in the series. He is a decent marksman, and he would have hit Clint had the latter not noticed the red laser sight on his chest at the last moment.

His real power comes from his connections, though. He appears to have a somewhat close business relationship with Kingpin, and he also has a personal connection with Maya. He is a higher-level member of the Track Suits, leading them in the initial auction robbery that set the events of the story into motion.

Jack Duquesne

Jack was one of the more confusing characters in the first episodes, as many fans were unsure whether or not he was a villain. By the end of the season, however, he became one of the most likable main characters in Hawkeye. While he seems to have little power in connection with criminal enterprises, he has power that derives from his incredible swordsmanship.

The series hints at his competence with a blade early on when he fences with Kate, but it is in the finale that viewers see him easily besting opponents. His time on-screen in the finale is limited, so he likely did not show his full potential, and audiences will have to wait and see what the future of the character holds if he ends up returning to the MCU.

Eleanor Bishop

Eleanor Bishop, unlike many other characters in the show, has power that comes mainly from her business and connections. Being the CEO of her security company, she has access to the locations of many people in the city, as evidenced by Kate's utilization of the security system at several points in the series.

Along with this, Eleanor is in business with Wilson Fisk for much of the season, making her much more powerful by association and leading to her hiring Yelena Belova to kill Clint Barton. She also killed Armand Duquesne III and attempted to frame Jack, showing the lengths she is willing to go to.

Kate Bishop

Training from an early age in a variety of capacities, including archery, martial arts, and gymnastics, Kate Bishop shows her skills in every confrontation in the season. She still has a lot to learn, but she makes progress over the span of the six episodes, resulting in her being able to defeat Kingpin in a final fight to protect Eleanor.

She has phenomenal aim with her bow and arrows, and she is even able to keep up with Clint in the battle with the Tracksuit Mafia in the finale. It is clear that Kate will be a force to be reckoned with as her journey continues and she hones her skills even further.

Maya Lopez

Maya Lopez puts her hand up in Hawkeye

From the moment she is introduced, it is clear that Maya Lopez can be a formidable foe. She trained from a young age in martial arts, which she displays in her fights with Kate and Clint. She is also a high-ranking member of the Tracksuit Mafia, giving her a criminal organization that she has a lot of sway in.

Additionally, she has a close relationship with Kingpin, further extending her criminal network and the power associated with it. Her solo series, Echo, is one of the most exciting things Hawkeye sets up for the future of the MCU, so fans are sure to see Maya utilizing her incredible skills again in the near future.

Clint Barton/Hawkeye

Since his first appearance in the MCU, Clint Barton has been one of the most skilled fighters in the franchise. The display of his abilities continues in Hawkeye, where he shows time and time again his prowess with a bow and arrows, miscellaneous objects, and hand-to-hand combat.

His capabilities allow him to save others on several occasions, and while he is not always considered the coolest Avenger (a fact the show pokes fun at), Hawkeye is not a figure people want to get on the bad side of.

Yelena Belova

First appearing in Black Widow earlier in 2021, Yelena Belova quickly became a fan favorite for many reasons, one of which was her mastery of fighting. She shows that she can take on Kate and Clint, partly utilizing her tools but mostly focusing on hand-to-hand combat. She had trained as a Black Widow assassin for years before the events of her first film appearance, making her an incredibly dangerous foe to face.

question fans may have after watching the Hawkeye finale is what happens to Yelena after she leaves, but she will likely return to another MCU project sooner rather than later.

Wilson Fisk/Kingpin

Wilson Fisk's return to the MCU was something that fans wanted since Daredevil was canceled in 2018. Kingpin was a formidable villain in that series, and he carried his intimidating presence over to Hawkeye.

Kate's arrow to his chest does not faze him at all, and he continues to fight after Eleanor hits him with a car, sending him through a wall. Along with his terrifying strength, he is a notorious crime boss, giving him wide-reaching power over various aspects of New York City.
