Where can Hawaii Five-0 be found online and is it available to stream on Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime? Hawaii Five-0 is the long-running reboot of the classic cop show of the same title. The 2010 version cast Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan as Steve McGarrett and Danny "Danno" Williams respectively, with Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) and Grace Park playing Chin and Kono for the first seven seasons.

Prior to the Hawaii Five-0 2010 remake there was a previous attempt to revive the show during the 1990s, with Gary Busey (Lethal Weapon) starring in a pilot that failed to make it to series. The reboot series went on to run for an impressive ten seasons and 240 episodes, with the show coming to an end in April 2020. It didn't quite beat the original show's lengthy run, however, which ran for twelve seasons and 279 episodes in total.

Regardless, Hawaii Five-0 achieved a very impressive run and scored a major following. Fans looking to revisit the adventures of Steve, Danno and their team now the show is over - or newcomers looking for something new to binge - won't be able to find it streaming on platforms like Netflix, Hulu or Prime in the U.S. Instead, the show can be found on streaming services CBS All Access or DIRECTV.

Hawaii Five-0 Cast

All ten seasons of Hawaii Five-0 are also available to purchase from Vudu, Amazon, iTunes and Google Play. While the show might be over - for now at least - it also took place in the expansive NCIS universe. This includes other series like MacGyver, Magnum P.I. and Scorpion. These shows often crossed over with one another, so it wouldn't be a huge shock if some Hawaii Five-0 characters could crop up elsewhere.

Part of the reason Hawaii Five-0 came to end was leading man Alex O'Loughlin's desire to move on. He's often spoken of the various injuries he's sustained through the show's run, which has made it increasingly difficult - and painful - to continue. The star made it clear season 10 would be his final year and while the network considered continuing by assigning Danno a new partner, they ultimately decided to bring Hawaii Five-0 to a close. Fans might have also been disappointed Chin and Kono didn't make a finale return, with showrunner Peter M. Lenkov telling Digital Spy the actors weren't approached because the production didn't necessarily know season 10 would be the end, so they didn't have time to create a compelling story for the characters.
