The Haunting Of Bly Manor had many interesting and lovable personalities, one of which was Owen Sharma, performed by the talented Rahul Kohli. Owen was sweet, charming, and a magnificent chef. He cared for his mother who was suffering from dementia, and for the residents of Bly Manor.

He was instantly taken in and loved by viewers. He had a gorgeous friendship with Hannah Grose and the love they had for each other never died, literally. Owen loved puns, story time, to knead dough by hand, and to provide a helping hand.

This pun was a thoughtful gesture to a distant Rebecca. Owen was in the kitchen cooking stew with Rebecca and Hannah.

He approached Rebecca and asked if the stew needed more salt, but Rebecca looked up confused. Owen saw an opportunity, and so with a spoonful of stew in hand, asked "what are you stewing on?" with a knowing wink to Hannah.

It's the final episode of the season, and viewers once again find themselves watching Hannah and Owen talk in the interview scene. In a way, it's her goodbye. She never got to speak to Owen properly after their moment during her dream hopping.

She only ever got to warn him, and after she told Jamie and Owen they were needed at the lake, she disappeared. She told Henry what she wanted to say, but never got to tell Owen herself. Hannah's image of Owen during the interview was her, but wherever she was, he was also.

Ah yes, Owen made various batter related puns during the episode, "The Two Faces, Part One." He was making a strawberry lemon cake and everyone was in the kitchen.

It's fair to say he didn't think a batter opportunity was going to present itself. Among the batter related jokes were "oh, we have a proper batter royal," and "I've made some good cakes in my day, but this one...is batter."

Hannah and Owen in Paris. It was a future viewers wanted to see so badly. But it could never be. While Hannah and Owen are sitting by the bonfire, Owen talks about his mother's dementia. How the past can't be counted on because memories can be forgotten or wrong.

He also says that in a way, it also means that no one can count on the future. He asked Hannah to go to Paris with him, and when she finally did say yes it was too late.

Owen and Hannah have what Jamie likes to call chemistry, as she slyly said while Owen was making dough one day. Owen loved to make Hannah laugh and to see her exasperation at the jokes he would make.

He named his restaurant "A Batter Place," because he could never forget "how badly it annoyed her until she finally had to laugh, and nothing was better than that woman's laugh." When he was making the lemon strawberry cake, he approached Hannah and booped her face with batter, "oh, now I've done it," despite her protests, and said, "you're a batter-ed woman."

While Dani gets Flora and Miles to do Jamie's gardening, Jamie, Hannah and Owen sit nearby. Owen brings G and T and Jamie asks Owen his thoughts on the new au pair. They laugh and say that out of zero to American, Dani is American.

Jamie says that Dani might be a bit too pretty and asks Owen if he thinks she's too pretty. Owen gets flustered and Jamie has a laugh, but Hannah comments that "romances don't fare well at Bly." Owen gets up to leave, collecting the drinks, and says, "Don't worry. I only have eyes for you, Hannah."

Flora is helping Owen in the kitchen when she starts to over-season the dish. "No-no-no. Not too much, or they'll come to take you away." Flora asks "who will?" and Owen responds, "the food police, for a-salt and buttery."

This pun is a wordplay of "assault," and "battery." Dani's expression as Owen moved away from the stove was definitely one to see.

It's not until the final moments of the final episode that viewers learn it was Owen who gave the speech during the rehearsal dinner of the first episode. "To truly love another person is to accept that the work of loving them is worth the pain of losing them." His words have new meaning.

Hannah. The woman who he loved, and Jamie is told, still loves. After Owen and Jamie found Hannah's body at the bottom of the well, Owen helped five others gently lift her body. He stayed with her all the way to the coroner and was the one to clean her. He stayed by her side until she was buried.

A play on the word alcohol and the saying "I'll call you later," gave Owen the pun "I'll-co-hol you later."

Not even the drink can impact Owen's mental capabilities when it comes to joking around, it can however impair his driving, so it's a good thing Jamie offered to drive. Hannah's reaction to Owen's pun was "My God, even for you."

Viewers didn't know it at the time, but Owen had revealed why everyone who died on Bly Manor stayed on its grounds, from the moment they met him on screen.

As Dani exclaimed how beautiful Bly was, Owen said he couldn't tell anymore. "The people here, most of them, they're born here, they die here. The whole town is one big gravity well."
