Harry Potter's birthday was just a couple of days ago and hardcore fans of the wizarding world celebrated the birth of the boy who lived and marked thousands of childhoods with his journey to defeat Lord Voldemort. Harry would be 42 years old today and it is almost unbelievable that more than two decades have passed since he had his first birthday cake (thanks to Hagrid) and went to Hogwarts.
Harry defeated the Dark Lord and is living a happy life with his wife Ginny Weasley and their children, all thanks to the people that never left his side throughout the years. Until the last moment, the Weasleys aided and protected Potter, and there is no question that without them Harry's story would have been very different. The Weasleys are a wonderful and outstanding big family and all their marvelous traits can be summed up with hilarious memes.
Molly Is Badass
Molly Weasley could probably be eligible for the most loving and kind mother figure to have ever existed in the wizarding world, however, she definitely has a temper. Anyone who crosses her when she is mad will receive the harshest scolding or the deadliest nonkilling curse.
Chuck Norris is strong and fierce, but he would never stand a chance against Molly in a bad mood, and all the Weasley children can testify to that. Of course, Bellatrix could claim the same, but fortunately, she was silenced forever by Molly's outstanding skills as a wizard.
Arthur Is 007
It is not like the Weasleys didn't have any money, it's just that seven children are a handful. Despite Malfoy's effort to depict the Weasleys as a poor family that needed to reuse books and uniforms, it's understandable that any family with that many kids would try to cut unnecessary extra expenses by passing on things from sibling to sibling.
However, beloved Arthur Weasley always receives harsh comments about his economic status and people often disrespect him, regardless of him being a loving and wonderful father. He is definitely very 007 in other aspects, like him being part of the Order of the Phoenix and protecting muggles in spite of being pure-blood, although one of the facts fans know about wizarding family trees is that the Weasleys have loved muggles for generations.
Many Siblings
To keep track of seven children is difficult and the movie writers of the Harry Potter films prove it. The second eldest son of the family does not appear in any of the movies, and can just be seen in the back of family pictures. He is considered one of the least heroic Weasley siblings, but that does not justify how everyone forgot about him.
He was mentioned here and there in the movies but never made a significant appearance. Despite him apparently being forgotten by the writers, book fans do not forget his exceptional persona. After all, he was once a school Prefect, Quidditch Captain, a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and studied dragons for a living.
Harry Potter Is An Honorary Weasley
Harry Potter is one of the best movies about childhood friendship and it perfectly shows how friends can become family. This is especially true for Harry given that the Weasleys often treated him as one of their own. They were always willing to feed him, offer him a place to stay, take care of him, and accompany him to get his school supplies.
The Weasleys became parent figures to Harry, but Molly showed a stronger affection towards Harry, which has led many fans to joke about how he was his favorite kid among all his children. There is no doubt that if she could, she would have adopted Harry and put a big picture of him on the wall to show her love for the boy who lived.
Percy Isn't A Favorite
Molly loved Harry Potter so much that a lot of times she seemed to give him more attention than anyone else. But among all her children, Percy Weasley was ignored the most. It was not without reason though, after all, he was the one that distanced from his family and became quite hostile after he joined the Ministry of Magic.
This probably didn't make Molly love Percy any less, she adored all her children. However, the dispute between Percy and his family led her to abandon him at the bottom of the sea to face his fate, but there's not much she could have done after his son had made up his mind, but fortunately, he came back to his family's loving arms.
Mischievous Twins
The Weasleys have a distinguished mischievous pair amongst their ranks that love to prank people and make everybody's day. George and Fred, the most beloved twins of Hogwarts, were not the best students, but they sure were popular and successful wizards. Therefore, is easy to imagine them fooling Google and doing something to prank their brothers through the search engine.
Given their dispute with their brother Percy and his blind loyalty to the Ministry of Magic, it is hilarious to imagine them putting a picture online where they ask internauts to kick him. One of the funniest Fred and George quotes sums up their relationship with their brother and it says "If we're not careful, we'll have another head boy in the family. I don't think I could stand the shame".
Ginny Is The Little Sister
Ginny is the younger sibling and the only girl. This led the Weasley brothers to be especially protective of their little sister, and Ron would always feel awkward when Ginny was with a potential boyfriend, which made Ron all more relatable and adorable.
George on the other hand would always see an opportunity to bother his siblings, so when he caught Harry and Ginny kissing he surprised them with a hilarious "Morning" to make them feel awkward. At that moment George looked fairly similar to baby Yoda holding a cup, only with a few more bandages around his head.
Children Always Get In Trouble
Molly has so many children that she must be used now to all kinds of behaviors from her children, but any mother has a limit, and when Molly runs out of patience she can make anyone tremble in fear. When Ron and Harry stole the family's car and it got destroyed by the Whomping Willow, Molly's blood boiled.
She then sent a Howler to Ron in Hogwarts and gave him one of the most humiliating scoldings any of the siblings had heard or witnessed. It was so bad the entire room went silent, and Ron was probably more scared than when he faced Aragog or Voldemort.
They Are Amazing Pure-Bloods
Despite being pure-bloods, the Weasley's never rejoiced on the title and they never felt superior to anybody else. They acknowledged that their pure-blood family tree was merely coincidental, and they never intended to preserve their blood purity. Their respect and love for muggles could have been taken as an example from other supremacist wizards, like the Malfoys.
Draco had little choice and was born into a family that taught him pure-bloods were better than everybody else, therefore, he was mean towards half-bloods or muggle-born wizards, such as Hermoine. Given that he demonstrated at the end he was not as evil as he appeared to be, there is no doubt that if he had been raised differently, he could probably have delivered the quote of the meme.
Big Family Tree
Considering almost all the seven siblings had children of their own, the Weasly family tree is enormous. Fans can only imagine the chaos at their house on holidays such as Christmas when they have to make dinner for more than twenty people.
If Snape had survived Voldemort, he would probably have made a comment on Ron and Hermoine's kids and complained about how many Weasleys are there. Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermoine's children would have been lucky to have such a brilliant potion professor, although he would probably have been irritated by them.
