From the moment Ron and Harry met on the Hogwarts Express in Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stonea beautiful friendship was born. Ron, a supportive, expressive and joker of a person and Harry, wide-eyed, dazed and confused. The two of them basically stumbled through life and just happened to find each other along the way. And of course, everyone knows that they wouldn't survive without Hermione in their lives.

Oftentimes Harry and Ron's interactions without her were just what you would expect from the two of them, and it's extremely entertaining. So what have been the duo's most comedic movie and book moments during the series? Fred and George, watch out, because the real jokers are making an appearance.

"Murder Me, Harry"

Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire gave some of the most entertaining moments in the Harry Potter film series. One of which is when the students are preparing for the Yule Ball and Ron receives a package from his mother that contains frilly pink and purple dress robes. Harry's reaction is priceless, taking this moment as an opportunity to make fun of his best friend.

Even though Harry tries to reassure Ron as he stands in front of the mirror, Ron pleadingly asks Harry to murder him. Of course, in the books, he is given the package in person by Mrs. Weasley. Her response to his reaction? “Fine,” snapped Mrs. Weasley. “Go naked. And Harry, make sure you get a picture of him. Goodness knows I could do with a laugh.”

Divination Predictions

Harry and Ron peer into a crystal ball in 'Prizoner of Azkaban'

"‘Aaaaah,’ said Ron, imitating Professor Trelawney’s mystical whisper, ‘when two Neptunes appear in the sky, it is a sure sign that a midget in glasses is being born, Harry.'" Trelawney's introduction as a Divination professor gave Harry and Ron an opportunity to laze their way through another subject. In Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, the two make up ridiculous predictions that turn out to be true. "Danger of burns," that Harry would "lose a treasured possession," and get "stabbed in the back" by someone he thought was a friend.

In Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban their tea leaf readings were also bizarre but true, such as suffering but being happy or a large windfall of gold. "You need your Inner Eye tested if you ask me,” said Ron, and they both had to stifle their laughs as Professor Trelawney gazed in their direction."

Their Remarkable Ability To Annoy People

Harry and Ron aren't the most attentive people. In Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, when Professor McGonagall asks Harry and Ron to pay attention, their reactions were very typical Harry and Ron reactions.

"Professor McGonagall’s irritated voice cracked like a whip through the Transfiguration class on Thursday, and Harry and Ron both jumped and looked up… The bell was due to ring at any moment, and Harry and Ron, who had been having a sword fight with a couple of Fred and George’s fake wands at the back of the class, looked up, Ron now holding a tin parrot, and Harry, a rubber haddock."

They Brought The Sass

When Harry is asked by Snape what the difference is between an Inferius and a Ghost, Harry replies that a Ghost is transparent. Snape's response? ‘A five-year-old could have told us as much." Ron comes to his best friend's defense, "‘well, what Harry said is the most useful if we’re trying to tell them apart!’ said Ron.

‘When we come face-to-face with one down a dark alley, we’re going to be having a shufti to see if it’s solid, aren’t we, we’re not going to be asking, “Excuse me, are you the imprint of a departed soul?'" Harry also tells off Snape when he says “there’s no need to call me ‘sir,’ Professor.”

Romilda Vane

When Harry suddenly captures the attention of fellow Hogwarts student Romilda Vane, she gives him a box of love-spiked Chocolate Cauldrons. When Ron sees it on the floor beside his suitcase, he thinks it's one of his birthday presents and proceeds to eat the whole box.

The following series of events is probably one of the most entertaining moments in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood PrinceHarry takes Ron to Professor Slughorn and tries to use this as an opportunity to bring up Horcruxes, but of course, a loopy Ron gets in the way and Harry must come to his friend's rescue.

When They Decide To Drive To Hogwarts

Platform 9 and 3/4 is blocked by Dobby's magic. So what are two 12-year-olds to do? Instead of calling and asking for help or waiting to test the theory of whether Ron's parents can come back through the platform, they decide to drive a magic car to Hogwarts. It makes total sense in their minds.

Of course, this leads to them being seen by muggles, followed by the train, crashing into the Whomping Willow, and Ron having a Howler sent to him by a very angry Mrs. Weasley.

Harry's Casual Reaction To Ron's Dream

In Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban, Harry has been given the Marauders Map and is studying it more than he's probably ever studied in his life. One night as he's reading it, Ron wakes up and starts muttering that the spiders want him to tap dance but that he doesn't want to. Harry's reaction? "You tell those spiders, Ron."

Harry seems to be used to Ron's arachnophobia and says this with serious insistence. The two are so used to each other that to anyone else, a reaction such as that would be odd. But to Harry, it's just the usual Ron.

Their Awkward Conversations

Ron and Harry have had their fair share of awkward moments, but the one that takes the cake is their conversation in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince. Ron asks Harry what he thinks Dean sees in his sister. Harry replies that she's smart, funny and attractive. Ron asks what he means by attractive and Harry says she's got nice skin, and that it could be a contributing factor.

Ron says that Hermione has nice skin and Harry says that he's never really thought about it but that she probably does. The two proceed to say goodnight and fall asleep. Just two high schoolers having a conversation about skin. Nice one boys.

Their Deal To Have Dates For The Yule Ball

In Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, Harry and Ron tell each other that they'll have dates for the Yule Ball, agreeing to have them by the time they meet in the Gryffindor Commonroom that night. What could go wrong?

Ron breaks down and screams at Fleur Delacour in his attempt to ask her to the Yule Ball. Ron explains to Harry that he was watching them walk because Harry knows that he likes the way they walk. Harry nods in agreement because he understands Ron's weird quirks. Unfortunately for Harry, he would be dealing with a lot more of Ron's relationship drama in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.

Basically Every Reaction Harry Has To Ron

From Harry raising his eyebrows, shaking his head, rolling his eyes and ignoring Ron's reactions, Harry and Ron are hilarious. When Ron noticed the spiders around them in Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of AzkabanHarry told Ron to shush, finally proclaiming "what!?" when Ron tugged his shirt in alarm. When Ron got whacked in the face by his broomstick, Harry started laughing and Ron told him to shut up. When Ron says he's doomed when his wand won't stay together with spellotape, Harry looks at him and says in agreement that he's doomed. When Ron gets angry that the teachers don't trust them and says "that's insulting," Harry nods in agreement.

Their reaction to Gilderoy Lockhart is entertainment in itself.  And when Harry tries to warn a Ron who suddenly realizes that Hermione is a girl that Snape is coming, they get whacked in the head. No one can argue the two of them aren't a ridiculous pair.
