After the release of the retrospective special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, many viewers are unsurprisingly curious as to how old was the cast of Harry Potter was when the first film was made, as well as how old are they In HBO Max's reunion. In the documentary feature, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and many others revisit the decade that they spent making the massively successful Harry Potter movies. With over a total of $7.7 billion in theater sales, the series still comes in as the 3rd highest-grossing movie franchise of all time, and saw the cast members grow up and evolve together as performers.

Based on J.K. Rowling's wildly successful book series, the Harry Potter saga spanned eight films spread over 10 years. The series featured contributions from four separate directors and a continually diversifying cast list, many of whom are still stars today. Such is the enduring legacy of the wizarding world that Warner Bros. even chose to expand Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them fantasy guide book into a separate spin-off trilogy – the third installment of which will arrive in 2022.
