I've read all the Harry Potter books except for the last, which I've decided to wait on. Despite liking the books, I have never really been a big fan of the Harry Potter film franchise--that is until I got a load of the first trailer for Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince, which is looking pretty amazing.
Now Warner Bros. has released the international trailer for The Half-Blood Prince on YouTube. It's reported to be the same as the Japanese trailer, but without the Japanese voice-over. I suppose that makes sense, since the entire universe does not understand Japanese.
The new international trailer is as awesome as the first, and almost makes me excited to see exactly how the film depiction of The Half-Blood Prince is going to turn out. However, I think it'll take more than a couple of trailers to truly get me going.
What do you think, is the movie version of The Half-Blood Prince going to be an apt representation of the book? Should I be excited to see it on the silver screen or should I stick by my guns and keep to the books?
Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince is slated to hit theaters on July 17, 2009.
