Harry Potter: Hogwarts' Mystery will reportedly allow players to experience all their favorite classes, including Defense Against The Dark Arts, Potions and Herbology. There will also be a mechanic for magical duels, as one of the boasted features is a dueling club. It has also been confirmed that most of the iconic professors will appear in the game. There is no word yet on if there will be social interaction with other players or the possibility of enjoying a virtual Butterbeer at the Hog's Head Pub.

The game is being developed by Jam City - a Los Angeles based mobile game studio, in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment under a licensing deal. The game will launch under Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's Portkey Games label, which is devoted to mobile games based upon the works of J.K. Rowling.

"This game is a labor of love for our developers and artists," said Chris DeWolfe, co-founder and CEO of Jam City. "(They) are dedicated to creating the most magical entertainment and game play experience for everyone who adores J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World."

Harry Potter: Hogwarts' Mystery will be free to play and available for mobile devices through Apple's App Store, GooglePlay and the Amazon Appstore. Those interested can pre-register at HarryPotterHogwartsMystery.com so they're ready when the game is released.
