A special trailer has been released offering fans a first glimpse at several of the actors reuniting and reminiscing about their roles in the beloved movie series. Unsurprisingly, the reunion will feature the three main stars who portrayed the golden trio; but, the trailer also confirms appearances from many other cast members too.

Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter)

No Harry Potter reunion would be complete without Harry himself, as played by Radcliffe in all eight movies. The recent trailer shows the actor reuniting with several of his other cast members and recalling how many of them have had a huge impact on his life.

Seeing the actor back in the Great Hall and back with Emma Watson and Rupert Grint is heartwarming and will take many fans back to their childhoods.

Emma Watson (Hermione Granger)

Watson is seen at the Harry Potter studios, walking next to the Hogwarts Express in the trailer which is an instantly iconic piece of imagery. Watson also says she feels like so much time has passed since the movies but at the same time like no time has passed at all.

She also perfectly describes how Harry Potter is always there to make life richer, even in the darkest of times which is something many fans can obviously relate to.

Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley)

Grint is also back for the reunion and in a touching moment he recalls how he has seen Watson and Radcliffe grow up, something that fans of the series have seen with all three of these young actors.

In another particularly emotional moment in the trailer, Watson and Grint embrace the latter stating that they are family and will always be a part of each other’s lives. These moments between Watson and Grint are so special as many fans will feel the same about these actors and the movies.

Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange)

Bellatrix comes to Hogwarts in Harry Potter

Bonham Carter plays one of the most villainous Death Eaters in the Harry Potter movies, Bellatrix Lestrange. The trailer shows Bonham Carter reminiscing about her favorite moments in the series and in particular when she played Hermione as Bellatrix in the final movie.

Despite being so evil, Bellatrix is a fan favorite and many will be hoping to see a reunion between her and her on-screen master played by Ralph Fiennes.

Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort)

Fiennes portrays the main antagonist of the Harry Potter series, Lord Voldemort. The trailer shows a brief clip of the actor where he recalls being unsure about whether to accept the role until he was quickly persuaded by his sister.

Fans will particularly enjoy seeing the actor out of prosthetics, a transformation that will surely be discussed in the special. Radcliffe and Fiennes will hopefully have a less tense reunion than Harry and Voldemort.

Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid)

While the actor doesn't appear in the trailer, Coltrane has been confirmed for the reunion special. Hagrid is a key player in the series and his relationship with Harry is integral.

As Coltrane looks particularly different in real life, it will be interesting to see him discuss his time as the half-giant and hopefully, the reunion will include discussions of all the wonderful 'creatures' he worked with during the movies.

Gary Oldman (Sirius Black)

Harry Potter's godfather, Sirius Black as played by Gary Oldman will also be joining the reunion. As he had one of the most heartbreaking deaths in Harry Potter, seeing Oldman reunite with Radcliffe is particularly special.

Looking very different since his time in the movies, he is seen in the trailer sitting down with Radcliffe and even recreating a heartwarming scene between their two characters from the movies.

Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy)

Isaacs also doesn't feature in the trailer but he is confirmed for the reunion. He played another of Voldemort’s Death Eaters and the father of Draco Malfoy, Lucius.

Many fans will be hoping that Isaacs reunites with his on-screen son during the reunion and perhaps discusses the moment in the second movie when his character tries to kill Harry but is stopped by Dobby.

Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy)

Harry's long-time enemy turned reluctant Death Eater, Draco as played by Felton is also seen in the trailer. One moment sees Felton embracing Watson showing they are still great friends despite the famous animosity between their characters.

As well as seeing this closeness between Felton and his other cast members, it would be lovely to hear him reminisce about his time working with his on-screen mum, the late Helen McCrory.

James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley)

The Wesley Twins at the Dursley's house in Deathly Hallows Part 1

After recently making a surprise cameo in Last Night in Soho, the Phelps brothers are also part of the Harry Potter reunion. It will be particularly exciting to see the twins back with their fellow Weasley family members.

The special may offer some insight into the sad death of Fred and perhaps why it occurred off-screen in the movies.

Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley)

Wright portrayed Harry's love interest and eventual wife Ginny in the movies and she briefly appears in the reunion trailer. One moment shows her sitting next to her on-screen dad which teases an exciting reunion for the Weasley family.

As she portrayed Ginny from the very first movie, it's brilliant to see Wright back with her fellow cast members.

Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley)

Although the matriarch of the Weasley family sadly seems to be missing from the reunion, Mr. Weasley actor, Mark Williams is there to take charge of the clan. Mr. Weasley is one of Harry's biggest supporters and becomes one of several surrogate fathers to him during the series.

While fans will be disappointed about the lack of reunion between Williams and his on-screen wife, it will still be exciting to see the patriarch reunite with his children.

Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas)

Enoch is perhaps best known for his role in How To Get Away With Murder but he did appear in seven of the Harry Potter movies as Dean Thomas. Dean is a classmate of the golden trio and is also in Gryffindor house, sharing a dormitory with Harry and Ron.

Enoch is also the son of original Doctor Who companion William Russell and while his role in the Harry Potter series is fairly small, it's still great to see him reunite with his fellow cast members.

Ian Hart (Quirinus Quirrell)

One of the more surprising additions to the reunion is Hart who portrayed Professor Quirrell in the first Harry Potter movie. Although he doesn't appear in the trailer, he has been confirmed for the reunion and as his last appearance in the series was 20 years ago it will be especially exciting to see him with the other cast members.

As Professor Quirrell played host to Voldemort in the first movie, it would be interesting to see Hart interact with Fiennes.

Toby Jones (Dobby)

Dobby the house elf in Harry Potter

Another exciting addition to the reunion is an actor that was never actually seen on screen. Jones voiced the lovable House Elf, Dobby in the Harry Potter movies.

Dobby is one of the best supporting characters in Harry Potter so to get the actor's perspective on the role will certainly be interesting. The actor hasn't spoken about his role of Dobby much in the past so it will be great to get his opinion on the character and what it was like to play the role.

Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom)

Neville Longbottom at the Battle of Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Lewis is certainly one of the most frequently discussed Harry Potter cast members due to his 'glow up' during the course of the series. The character of Neville went on one of the biggest journeys throughout the movies, starting out as a shy and awkward young boy and growing into a courageous young man who killed one of Voldemort's Horcruxes.

Lewis is seen getting together with his fellow cast members in the trailer and is sure to discuss his character's transformation across the series.

Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood)

Lynch joined the Harry Potter series from the fifth movie but it would be easy to believe she'd been there since the beginning due to her great screen presence and brilliant chemistry with her fellow cast members.

Luna is one of the best Ravenclaw characters in Harry Potter and is a loyal friend to him in the latter half of the series. Lynch fully embraced her character and even made some of her costume pieces so it will be great to hear more from her about her love of the character.
