Harry Potter star Tom Felton got quite the shock when he took a Hogwarts house quiz - and didn't get sorted into Slytherin. Felton played notorious bully Draco Malfoy in all eight Harry Potter films. Fans know Malfoy's obsession with blood purity makes him the perfect candidate for Slytherin, along with his actions in later books/films that bring him into Lord Voldemort's (Ralph Fiennes) ranks. Of course, Felton is hardly his character, and it's been years now since he last played him. Felton has since gone on to star in numerous other projects, including The CW's The Flash, but he is still best known for his time in the Wizarding World.

Harry Potter proper might've come to an end in 2011, but J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World lives on. A prequel film series kicked off in 2016 with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, with a third installment expected in 2021. Meanwhile, the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child continues to run in both London and New York City. However, the real thrill for fans came earlier this week, when it was announced that Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, has returned to the franchise to read the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for Spotify.

Like Radcliffe, Felton seems to be feeling nostalgic for his days as a Hogwarts student, though his trip down memory lane threw him for a loop. Felton revealed online that he took a quiz to figure out his Hogwarts house... and ended up in Hufflepuff. When reacting to his results, Felton merely said, "a sad day....on so many levels." You can see his post down below:

Felton took the quiz through the Harry Potter At Home Hub, which had been established last month for those quarantining at home during the coronavirus pandemic. The Hub includes quizzes, puzzles, and other fun activities for fans, and it's sweet to see cast members like Felton (and Radcliffe, through his reading) getting involved. The Harry Potter series holds such fond memories for so many people, especially for those who were involved with the films. Felton is far from the only one to call back to his time in the Wizarding World, and he definitely won't be the last.

Perhaps the funniest thing about this quiz is that Felton put in Malfoy's name, thus making it look like Malfoy himself was put into Hufflepuff. That would be quite the character change. While Felton likely won't appear in a future movie (unless it's a reboot and he's playing Lucius Malfoy), he'll always hold a special place in Potterheads' hearts. That is, provided they don't disown him for ending up in the wrong house. Then again, Hufflepuff is an underrated house. Maybe it's exactly right for him, despite how much of a plot twist it is.
