With the passing of every day, we move closer and closer to the release date of the highly anticipated film (there’s the understatement of the year), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.
As if the nine TV spots and 12 short action clips from the seventh Harry Potter flick weren’t enough, Warner Bros. has released yet another scene and TV advert for Deathly Hallows: Part 1, in the hopes of somehow getting fans even more excited to see the second-to-last onscreen adventure of the titular boy wizard.
Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) will be on their own for a large part of Deathly Hallows: Part 1, as they have to both hide from the forces of Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes, minus his nose) and find the heavily-guarded Horcruxes, which must be destroyed in order for the Dark Lord to be defeated. Nowhere is safe for the young trio of wizards, as the Death Eaters have infiltrated the Ministry of Magic and are willing to hide themselves amongst the non-magic (i.e., muggle) population in order to capture Harry and his friends.
The most recent clip from Deathly Hallows: Part 1 demonstrates just that, as Harry, Ron, and Hermione find themselves under attack at a local cafe. We get some cool-looking spell-casting action in this scene, along with a humorous reminder of just how oblivious the non-magical community is to the war being waged around them.

There’s a new Deathly Hallows: Part 1 TV spot as well, and it contains some not-yet-seen footage, which includes a short speech from the gnarled old house elf, Kreacher, about the highly dangerous nature of a Horcrux – along with swarms of Dementors and a handful of magic-induced explosions.

Advanced ticket sales for the seventh Harry Potter film have been through the roof, with virtually every midnight screening around the U.S. being sold out at this point. The visual FX in Deathly Hallows: Part 1 look breath-takingly good and the plot shouldn’t feel too rushed this time around, since the story won’t be concluding until next summer in Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Will both Deathly Hallows movies be by far the best of the franchise?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 arrives in regular and IMAX theaters on November 19th, 2010. Part 2 hits 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D screens next year on July 15th, 2011.
