Millions of fans are looking ahead to this summer's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 with a mix of fevered anticipation and sorrow that the decade-old film franchise is coming to an end. However, a lot of people are just pumped to FINALLY see the ultimate showdown between the dark forces of Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) and those in the magical community who stand in his way.
Those of you who have watched the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 trailer so often that it no longer sends shivers down your spine - and let's be honest, that's almost certainly not the case - can instead pass the time by checking out the eleven (count 'em, 11) new action-packed posters released for the film.
Obviously Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will be the big occasion for Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson), as they try and destroy the last of Voldemort's Horcuxes - and thus defeat the evil warlock once and for all. However, it's also an occasion for the likes of prim and proper Professor McGonagall (Dame Maggie Smith) and even the mysterious Severus Snape (Alan Rickman) to show off their fighting abilities during the destructive battle of Hogwarts Castle.
Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will also reveal that Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis) is no longer just an awkward young boy - but has now become (for lack of a better description) somewhat of a bad-ass. Hence why he gets his own poster here, alongside the main characters and important supporting players like the shrewd goblin Griphook (Warwick Davis), vicious Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter), conflicted Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton), and the wise-cracking Weasley twins, Fred and George (James and Oliver Phelps).

While all the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 footage unveiled so far has looked just as majestically dark and stylishly action-packed as you would expect from the grand finale to one of the biggest blockbuster series ever, a recently-released Harry Potter series featurette contained one of the neatest bits of never-before-seen material: the first screen test with Radcliffe, Grint, and Watson each playing their respective Potter-verse character. If that video alone doesn't hammer home how much things have changed since Sorcerer's Stone hit theaters back in 2001 - and just why Deathly Hallows: Part 2 arguably deserves the title "movie event of the decade" - then nothing will. Except the final Harry Potter movie itself, that is.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will be unleashed in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D theaters on July 15th, 2011.
