A new Harry Potter book from Insight Editions will focus on Christmas at Hogwarts, one of the most magical times of the year in the wizarding world. With its enchanted ceiling that mimics the weather outside, Hogwarts’ Great Hall has consistently been one of the many highlights of the Harry Potter novels as well as films. It was through the latter’s ability to visually recreate the setting of the Great Hall that allowed fans to truly lose themselves in the magic of the wizarding world. Because of this, seasonal highlights such as Halloween and Christmas are some of the greatest elements features in the cinematic depictions of Hogwarts, and for many people, watching the films during the holiday season has become an annual tradition. Of course, not every Harry Potter fan is necessarily a Christmas fan, but for those who are, Christmas at Hogwarts is perhaps the perfect way to bring in the holiday season this year. The book is currently available to pre-order for $19.99 (USD) and is hardcover, with forty-eight pages worth of Hogwarts festive cheer. For the Harry Potter fan who has everything, it’s a new way to gain even more insight into the magical sights at Hogwarts during Christmas. However, despite the book’s title referring specifically to Hogwarts, there are other aspects to it, such as the Christmas at the Burrow section, which highlights the time spent with Ron and the rest of the Weasley family.
It’s quite amazing to know that despite the years that have passed since Rowling wrote the final entry in the book series, the franchise continues to provide fresh insight into its fascinating world. Potter fans are thankful for this, of course, and are unlikely to tire of it any time soon. However, there’s no denying that what would really make for a memorable Christmas season would be the announcement that a new entry in the series was on its way. Unfortunately, that’s very unlikely to happen any time soon, so for now, Harry Potter: Christmas at Hogwarts is the latest way to return to the wizarding world.
