The photo was released upon Sirius's escape from prison and all fans will remember this iconic photograph. Check out the artist at lizzieprincetattoos on Instagram!

Padfoot In A Teacup

Padfoot was Sirius Black's nickname. Sensible, given the fact that this character was an Animagus who could turn into a dog. This adorable tattoo illustrates Sirius in his canine form in the cutest way! The tattoo shows the black dog sitting inside a teacup, which fans will remember is where Professor Trelawny prophesized The Grim to Harry in Prisoner of Azkaban during one of their classes. The Grim, which was an omen of death, was a black dog, similar to Sirius.

Animagus

This gorgeous and colorful tattoo illustrates a portrait of Sirius Black as a human and in his animal form. This tattoo nods to the fact that this character was an Animagus and that it was incredibly important to him.

The tattoo illustrates Sirius perfectly and the addition of his dog form is so well done. The inclusion of a full moon in this tattoo represents how often Sirius would phase into his animal form to be with his best friend, Remus Lupin, during his transformation into a werewolf on full moons.

The Grim

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban introduced viewers to Sirius Black, and along with this new character came many other revelations. The art of divination was introduced in this film and fans met Professor Trelawny for the first time. This professor predicted that Harry had an omen of death after Ron Weasley saw what was called "The Grim" in his tea leaves. This foreshadowed Harry meeting Sirius and this tattoo represents that perfectly.

Padfoot In Azkaban

Sirius Black was able to escape Azkaban Prison because he was a skilled Animagus. When wizards become Animagi, it requires a lot of skill and practice to be able to transform without the use of a wand, which Sirius was able to do. For this reason, he was able to escape, and this tattoo, completed by Dark Art Tattoo, shows Sirius in prison as Padfoot, his animal form. The detail in this tattoo is nothing short of amazing.

The Whomping Willow

The Whomping Willow was important to Sirius Black and so it makes perfect sense that a tattoo paying tribute this character would include this iconic part of Hogwarts. The Whomping Willow was a moving tree that lived on the Hogwarts school grounds. The tree was a secret passageway to the Shrieking Shack, which is where Remus Lupin and Sirius Black confronted Peter Pettigrew after years of thinking he was dead. This gorgeous tattoo details this special location wonderfully.

Padfoot

Padfoot, which was Sirius Black's nickname, was important to this character for many reasons. As one of the four Marauders of the Marauders Map, Sirius, along with James Potter and Peter Pettigrew, turned himself into an Animagi, giving himself a secret name for his animal form, Padfoot.

The tattoo represents some of Sirius' most endearing qualities.

The Time-Turner

Hermione Granger's Time-Turner played a key role in Sirus Black's life, as without it, this character would have suffered a fate worse than death, the Dementor's Kiss. In the third film, Hermione and Harry travel back in time to save Sirius Black from a dementor attack, which allows him to escape the dementors with the help of Buckbeak the Hyppogriff, who they also saved.
