Since The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna’s husband, Harry Hamlin, first made his spaghetti Bolognese in season 11, the legendary sauce keeps becoming a point of conversation on the show. Last season, Lisa invited the RHOBH cast members over to her house for an Italian-themed meal. Harry, who is famous for his Bolognese sauce, cooked lunch for all the housewives. Lisa credits Harry as being the more domestic of the two, and his meal did not disappoint. The RHOBH stars sang high praises for the spaghetti Bolognese, particularly Garcelle Beauvais. The next day, Lisa and Harry gifted Garcelle with a jar of the wonderful sauce.

During the RHOBH season 11 reunion, Lisa brought up a point of contention with Garcelle regarding the sauce. Despite personally dropping off the jar of Bolognese to Garcelle’s house, the Love Me as I Am author failed to text Harry a thank-you note. Garcelle was confused because she had personally thanked both Lisa and Harry in person when they had given her the Bolognese. For some reason, Lisa didn’t think it was good enough, and their argument became a huge point of contention between them.

Following “sauce-gate,” RHOBH fans hoped the issue would be put to bed once and for all. However, prior to RHOBH season 12, Harry’s Bolognese sauce came up again. In a Watch What Happens Live segment, RHOBH star Sutton Stracke was on and mentioned that she had invited Lisa to the Elton John gala but never received a thank you either. Sutton was making a point in defense of her friend Garcelle, in that when friends do favors for each other, they don’t expect a formal acknowledgment. Unfortunately, Sutton’s dig did not sit well with Lisa, and this became the start of a he-said, she-said war.

In the second episode of RHOBH season 12, Lisa and Sutton tried to settle their differences during Harry’s 70th birthday party. Sutton proved that she had bought a table at an Elton John’s charity event, but apologized to Lisa for bringing it up on Watch What Happens Live. However, Lisa seemed to have the final dig when she served spaghetti Bolognese during dinner. Although it wasn’t Harry’s special sauce, having it on the menu seemed to indicate that she wasn’t ready to let old transgressions slide. Still, the RHOBH stars enjoyed the pasta, even though it wasn't Harry's.

RHOBH fans are curious about Harry’s Bolognese recipe that was so good it started a mini war. Unfortunately, his recipe is still a secret, and fans will just have to improvise. With Lisa’s entrepreneurial skills, perhaps she will eventually sell Harry’s sauce on QVC, much like her own products. Until then, viewers will just have to live vicariously through The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars.
