Harley Quinn season 3 receives its own official "Harlivy" Twitter emoji celebrating the romantic relationship between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Created by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey, the adult animated superhero comedy originally aired on the now-defunct streaming service, DC Universe, in 2019 where it aired for two seasons to much critical acclaim. When Harley Quinn was officially renewed for a third season, it was also announced that the series would be moving to HBO Max following the restructuring of DC Universe.

The Big Bang Theory and The Flight Attendant's Kaley Cuoco leads the Harley Quinn voice cast as the titular villainess alongside Lake Bell as Poison Ivy. The two have been paired together many times across DC media, often appearing as close friends but other times as something more. Harley Quinn season 1 first introduced Harley and Ivy as friends, but season 2 took their relationship a step further as Harley realizes she's developed romantic feelings for Ivy. In Harley Quinn's season 2 finale, Poison Ivy finally reciprocates those feelings after calling off her wedding to Kite-Man, and the pair's romantic relationship is expected to play a large role going forward. Harley Quinn season 3 will air on HBO Max sometime in July and now, the DC show's digital campaign has started to ramp up ahead of its premiere.

Since her debut in Batman: The Animated Series in 1992, Harley Quinn has grown to become one of the popular female comic book characters of all time. Originally introduced as a comic relief henchwoman for The Joker, the animated Harley Quinn series has breathed new life into the character by breaking off her toxic relationship with The Joker and setting her on various solo misadventures alongside her best friend, Poison Ivy. As a result, Harley Quinn has been praised by critics and audiences alike for its dark humor, tone, and depiction of the titular protagonist.

Harley Quinn's return has been highly-anticipated ever since the show's emotional season 2 finale which saw Harley and Ivy confess their love for one another after narrowly escaping Commissioner Gordon and fleeing Gotham City. As Harley Quinn season 3 images indicate, Harley and Ivy will take their relationship to the next level by enjoying a beach vacation together and sharing yet another passionate kiss. Considering the unveiling of the "Harlivy" Twitter emoji and the tease to "Stay tuned tomorrow," expect the first Harley Quinn season 3 trailer to drop tomorrow ahead of next month's premiere.
