It seems that Harley Quinn may just be capable of taking on the entire DC Universe. At New York Comic Con, DC has revealed the new miniseries Multiversity: Harley Quinn Screws Up the DCU, which will see the eponymous hero's true chaotic potential.

Though she may have started her career as the Joker's girl Friday, Harley Quinn has shown she's more than just a sidekick. Since kicking the Clown Prince of Crime to the curb, Harley's come into her own as a force to be reckoned with. Whether carving out a place for herself as an anti-hero or working with the Bat-Family, Harley Quinn can hold her own no matter the situation. With her acrobatic skills, keen psychological mind, and her adeptness at swinging a bat or mallet, Harley has a skill set that has allowed her to go toe-to-toe with some of the DC Universe's most powerful characters.

Now, Harley's going to show the DCU the fullest extent of her abilities in a new limited series. At New York Comic Con, DC provided fans at its Harley Quinn panel details on Multiversity: Harley Quinn Screws Up the DCU, a six-issue miniseries Frank Tieri (Old Lady Harley, Harley Quinn and her Gang of Harleys) and Logan Faerber (Harley Quinn – The New Sidekicks of Gotham Special). Though the exact nature of the mini was kept quiet for now, DC has teased that Harley is about to "run wild across the history of the DC Universe". The publisher also provided a look at a cover for the miniseries. Not only are there hints of various heroes that have been harmed by Harley's actions, but iconic locations such as the Hall of Justice and the Daily Planet also appear to be in states of disarray.

Taking on the universe puts Harley in the same company as the Punisher and Deadpool, both of whom have had their own series that put them up against their home multiverses. However, while Frank Castle and Wade Wilson intentionally killed the Marvel Universe in their series, Harley's mini features the words "Screws Up" in the title, which implies a more accidental nature on her part. Still, deliberate or not, Harley's about to cause a lot of trouble for the DC Universe, which may finally reveal what she's actually capable of.

Harley might have a reputation as a screwball, but she isn’t afraid to take on some of DC’s heavy hitters. Harley once beat Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in a fight and proved that when pushed, even the A-Listers of the DCU would have trouble keeping up with her. Harley may not be purposefully trying to harm the DC Universe in her new miniseries, but it's possible she starts a chaotic chain reaction that she's unable to stop. What exactly does Harley do that could put possibly put the entire multiverse in danger? Fans will have to discover that for themselves when Multiversity: Harley Quinn Screws Up the DCU launches in March 2023.
