Since her explosive, bonkers, and downright badass introduction as The Joker's favorite gal in Batman: The Animated Series, Harley Quinn has become a fan-favorite Batman character and is perhaps one of the most beloved villains/anti-heroes in DC Comics' extensive gallery. The character has become even more popular in recent years, managing to make a name for herself in Hollywood thanks to Margot Robbie's undeniably magnetic interpretation.

While she's only had two adventures in the DC Extended Universe (so far), Margot Robbie's Harley has already come into contact with some of the DC universe's most exciting, terrifying, and badass characters. With her future looking very bright in the franchise, however, we've decided to look at the various characters we'd like to see Harley team-up with in a future spin-off film!

Here are 10 DC characters Harley Quinn should team-up with in her next cinematic adventure!

The Joker

Joker holds his hand to his mouth in Suicide Squad.

We might have technically seen Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn interact with The Joker, aka. Puddin' (portrayed by Jared Leto), but it's fair to say that there's a lot more to explore with this particular relationship.

The unique and volatile relationship between Harley and The Joker is one of the most complex in comic-book history, so it's exciting to think of a cinematic future for Gotham's most dangerous couple. After all, Harley Quinn doesn't exist without the Joker. It would be a real shame if we never got to see Robbie's Harley interact with her Mr. J again.

Batman

We might not know who's wearing the cape and cowl in Harley's version of Gotham (Affleck? Pattinson?), but its impossible to deny that a Harley Quinn/Batman team-up would be one of the most exciting cinematic crossovers for the DC Extended Universe.

It's easy to see that Batman's dynamic with Harley would be blockbuster gold. Bruce Wayne has clearly got a few issues, and it would be hilarious to watch Harley use her therapeutic skills to get under the Dark Knight's tight-fitted body armor.

Poison Ivy

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy talk in the Harley Quinn animated series.

In recent years Harley has strayed away from The Joker (usually not by choice) and found an even more exciting partner in crime, Poison Ivy! Harley's relationship with Ivy is one of the most exciting and entertaining DC has to offer, and it would be incredible to see their dynamic transfer over to the big screen!

With the new Harley Quinn animated series delving into this uniquely badass relationship, now is the perfect time to introduce Poison Ivy to the DCEU and build her relationship with Gotham's craziest villain/anti-hero.

Wonder Woman

This one doesn't seem likely, especially when you think of Harley's potty mouth. Despite that, we would love to see Gotham's most badass female character interact with Gal Gadot's iconic Themysciran warrior.

Much like Batman, or any major DC superhero for that matter, it would be insanely fun to watch a character like Harley interact with someone as genuinely heroic and good as Diana Prince.

Catwoman

Who wouldn't enjoy two female baddies working together?!

With Zoe Kravitz suiting up as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, alongside Robert Pattinson's Batman in Matt Reeves' The Batman, we can only imagine how insanely cool it would be to see her come into contact with Margot Robbie's princess of crime!

Batgirl/Oracle

While we're getting a Birds Of Prey film in just a matter of days, it's hard to ignore the fact that one key player is missing from the badass girl group! Batgirl, aka Oracle, is an original and founding member of the gang, so it would be nothing short of perfect to see the fan-favorite character interact with Harley, Huntress and Black Canary in a future sequel!

Given her relationship with Batman, we're sure Batgirl would bring a somewhat predetermined opinion of Harley, so it would be fun to see how that relationship evolved as the heroines worked together with the Birds of Prey.

Robin

DC Comics Robin by Jim Lee

If we're keeping Harley Quinn in Gotham for a while, we've got to imagine she'll come across one of Batman's adopted sidekicks at some point...right?

Harley Quinn is a character that likes to have her fair share of fun, so it would be interesting and undeniably entertaining to watch her interact with a Robin like Dick Grayson, who has been taught everything he knows about the world by Batman.

Supergirl

With rumors that Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, will be joining the DC Extended Universe in the near future, we've got to wonder what it would be like for the last daughter of Krypton to interact with Gotham's wackiest and most irresponsible criminal!

Supergirl is generally quite an upbeat superhero, but she's been known to have a dark side, and this is something DC could explore in a Supergirl and Harley Quinn crossover film.

Lex Luther

Lex Luthor from DC comics

With his genius inventions and master plans, Lex is a super-villain that wouldn't stand for any tomfoolery, which is exactly why it would be hilariously entertaining to watch the iconic Superman villain work side-by-side with the endlessly mischievous Harley Quinn!

Harley might prove to be too much of a wild card for poor old Lex, who prefers things to be flawlessly executed. It's fair to say, however, that the duo would have a lot of fun and cause a whole lot of trouble together!

Red Hood

Given her somewhat complex and violent history with Jason Todd, we can only imagine how entertaining it would be to see Harley Quinn come face-to-face (face to mask?) with Red Hood.

Red Hood, who was trained by Batman. like every other Robin, would have little patience for Harley's playful style, but the pair would make for one explosive team!
