Some fans might think that in order to be a teenage detective, one might exhibit the traits most often associated with Virgos: detailed planning, incredible observation skills, and a tendency to take care of things for other people. In some cases, that might be true, but Hulu's Hardy Boys adaptation shows that there are a lot of different approaches to solving a mystery.

The large cast of characters in Bridgeport is thrust into the middle of a search for a missing artifact and the mystery of the death of Laura Hardy when her sons Frank and Joe move to town for the summer. Everyone has their own approach to dealing with the mysteries, and the personality traits they demonstrate certainly can allow fans to speculate about their zodiac signs - and which character they would identify with most.

Aries: Joe

Joe In The Hardy Boys

Traditionally, Aries are defined by their impulsivity. Their excitement tends to see them jumping into situations without really thinking about the consequences.

That's very much true for this version of Joe Hardy. He sees a mystery or gets the hint of a secret, and he just has to unravel it. Joe doesn't just jump into situations, he barrels right through them and hopes for the best. That might mean following a girl he's just met to the beach to help her help a fugitive, or it might mean deciding to explore a collapsed mine shaft to destroy a magical talisman without worrying about the danger until it's almost too late.

Taurus: Jessie

Jessie In Hardy Boys

A creature of comfort and security, a Taurus is someone who doesn't like sudden change. They work best when they have a routine, and they are incredibly stubborn when someone tries to get them to change it up.

As the local sheriff's deputy, Jessie Cooper has a pretty controlled and comfortable life in Bridgeport. That gets shaken up when the Hardy Boys move to town and her daughter starts hanging out with Joe. Jessie tries repeatedly to find out just what's going on, but because the boys and their Aunt Trudy keep shutting her out, she becomes angrier and angrier with them. It's not until her own daughter ends up in danger that they let her in, and they realize that her place as a deputy and her knowledge of the town can even help them.

Gemini: JB

JB Cox With Joe And Biff In The Hardy Boys

JB is a master of style-shifting and landing on his feet. He can charm anyone and find a way to fit in anywhere. That's why he's a Gemini.

Geminis are social creatures, able to easily make friends. JB's best friend in Bridgeport might be a twelve-year-old, but he also manages to charm Wilt and sneak in and out of places undetected. Every time his plans go awry, he finds a way to adapt and wiggle his way out of a potentially dangerous situation to move on to the next phase. He's really a master of adaptation.

Cancer: Chet

Chet And Callie In The Hardy Boys

Sensitive souls who make friends easily, Cancers can always see the good in people. That's part of the reason Chet is able to maintain a friendship with Frank despite knowing that his girlfriend is developing feelings for him.

Of course, that also means that Chet is more likely to see the good in someone like Stacy instead of believing that she's up to something right away. It also means that, despite things becoming awkward between Chet and Frank, Chet is one of the first people willing to help find Frank's little brother when he goes missing.

Leo: Phil

Phil In Hardy Boys

Phil doesn't get in on the action a lot in the first season of Hulu's Hardy Boys adaptation. That's a shame because as a Leo, he would likely love to have all eyes on him.

Phil is someone who has no trouble drawing eyes to him when the Hardy brothers need a distraction. He's also someone who is interested in so many things that he wants all of his friends to be involved in those same things. Phil likes to have fun, and he loves it when he can make sure his friends are having a good time too.

Virgo: Callie

Chet And Callie In Hardy Boys

The more typical teen detective attitude is present in Callie. This is the Virgo who plans, analyzes, and catalogs situations to their smallest details.

Callie spends nearly every waking minute preparing for her potential future. While that's a little derailed when Frank and Joe move to town, her focus shifts to the mystery at hand. Callie is able to keep up with both of the Hardy Boys, and even solve some puzzles faster than them thanks to her analytical mind.

Libra: Fenton

Fenton In Hardy Boys

Libras can be as charming and adaptable as a Gemini. Libras do, however, have one big motivation that differs: fairness. That's why Libras are symbolized by the scales; they are all about balance.

Libras tend to end up in a lot of fields associated with justice, so Fenton Hardy being a Libra and a detective makes sense. Though the audience doesn't see much of him during the course of the first season, Fenton's entire arc is motivated by bringing the person responsible for his wife's death to justice. He wants to keep people safe and see people who did bad things pay for those crimes.

Scorpio: Laura

Laura In Hardy Boys

Scorpios often get a bad reputation amongst fans of astrology. They keep their secrets close to the vest, but they also aggressively pursue their interests. A career in journalism, like Laura Hardy's, seems like a great match for a Scorpio then.

Laura doesn't just aggressively pursue answers. She's also, like her sons, fascinated by puzzles, another Scorpio hallmark. She's also incredibly patient and stubborn in her hunt for the truth.

Sagittarius: Frank

Frank In Hardy Boys

On the surface, Frank seems like more of a homebody than the usual Sagittarius. Those born under the sign are usually known for their sense of wanderlust, after all. Frank still has a sense of adventure, but it manifests in working out the solutions to mysteries instead of traveling.

He's also got the scholarly attitude of a Sagittarius. If someone is born under the sign, chances are they have a love of learning. That doesn't always mean academic learning, but their interests will be varied and they pursue those interests in detail. Frank, after all, has amassed enough knowledge to be able to pass the Rosegrave entrance exam without studying, and he has a knack for remembering patterns in puzzles.

Capricorn: Gloria

Gloria In Hardy Boys

Ambitious and willing to make huge sacrifices to follow their dreams, Capricorns can either be hugely successful or repeatedly let down by the circumstances in which they find themselves. Gloria sees a bit of both.

Gloria longs for the family legacy she thinks her father should have left her. She's not satisfied with simply maintaining the wealth left to her, but wants the power as well. Gloria doggedly pursued the leads that could bring her back "the eye," and is even willing, at one point, to sacrifice her relationship with her grandsons to do it.

Aquarius: Biff

Biff In The Hardy Boys

The rebel amongst zodiac signs, an Aquarius tends to be someone who prefers to forge their own path in life. They also are humanitarians, reaching out to those in need along their path.

Biff might not seem like a rebel since she's the one kid constantly saying that they should go to the police for help when things get dicey, but that does make her someone willing to stand up to her friends when times get tough. She doesn't turn away from people in need either, whether that's Joe as he looks for answers about his mother or JB stranded on the beach.

Pisces: Trudy

Trudy With Joe And Frank In Hardy Boys

For the spiritual and artistic, look no further than a Pisces. Pisces are people who easily make connections - whether that's to people, places, or circumstances. They are creative, always thinking outside the box.

Trudy might not show the spiritual side of the sign in the show, but she is certainly the type of person who values connection and communication, and she continually attempts to improve her relationship with her nephews. She's also an artist, someone who loves to express herself through painting.
