OPI and Xbox have announced a nail polish collaboration that unlocks in-game content for Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 players. The Xbox-inspired Spring 2022 collection of OPI nail polishes are available exclusively from Ulta Beauty stores, to begin with, then available in all locations OPI is sold from February 1, 2022. Qualifying purchases will unlock corresponding in-game items for Xbox titles Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite. Forza fans can unlock exclusive Ford GT livery in orange and pink, matching two of the Forza-inspired nail polish colors. In Halo Infinite, fans can receive limited-edition Spartan glittery armor color-matched to the "You Had Me At Halo" nail polish shade.

The OPI x Xbox collection consists of 12 colors inspired by Xbox games and popular gaming phrases. Colors include the Halo-inspired “You Had Me At Halo”, and the Forza-inspired “Racing For Pinks” and "Trading Paint". According to OPI's website, in order to redeem Forza Horizon 5 content fans must purchase $20 or more of OPI products at Ulta. To redeem the limited-edition shiny nail Spartan armor in Halo Infinite, fans must purchase $20 or more of OPI products on Amazon.

Details on which purchases qualify for the in-game gift for Halo Infinite can be found in OPI’s blogpost about the Xbox collection. After fans have made their qualifying purchases, they’ll have to submit proof of purchase through OPI’s website. OPI will verify the receipt within 48 hours, then send the customer a link to download the in-game content for their chosen game, be that Halo Infinite or Forza Horizon 5. Qualifying purchases must be redeemed before June 15, 2022, for Halo Infinite content, and April 15, 2022, for Forza Horizon 5's Ford GT coating. Any purchases from the OPI x Xbox collection submitted to OPI's website after these dates won’t be eligible to receive the in-game gifts, so fans should make sure to submit their receipts ahead of these deadlines, otherwise they'll run the risk of missing out.

All Halo Infinite Nail Polish Colors Xbox OPI Collection Spring 2022

The Halo Infinite Spartan armor from the OPI x Xbox collection shown on OPI's website and social media matches the collection's pearlescent blue shade, "You Had Me At Halo". All 12 nail polish shades in the OPI x Xbox collection are available for sale on Ulta's website now, with more retailers stocking them from the beginning of February. This isn't Halo Infinite's first limited-edition collaboration, with a Halo Infinite and Master Chief x Rockstar Energy collaboration announced last year. In addition to the unlockable in-game content, Xbox is offering fans the opportunity to win custom Xbox Wireless Controllers in three pastel colors from the OPI x Xbox Collection. To enter for a chance to win one of these custom controllers, fans must follow @OPI on Instagram and TikTok where details on how to enter will be posted soon.

Although accessing this limited-time in-game content is more involved than just purchasing the skins, Halo Infinite fans can head to Amazon to make a $20 or more purchase from the Xbox-inspired collection from OPI. Qualifying purchases can then be redeemed for Halo Infinite's shiny Spartan armor color-matched to the collection's nail polish shades. Halo Infinite fans who are particularly interested in the glittery pastel blue Spartan armor previewed on OPI’s website can make a qualifying purchase on Amazon from February 1st, in order to redeem the limited-edition armor in-game.
