Halloween 2021 is thankfully bringing a host of new films all across the release spectrum. Movie theaters are back while Netflix and other streaming services are in full competitive swing, so there's no end to spooky content to satisfy your October cravings. From the return of Halloween's Michael Myers to the return of the Muppets, from thought-provoking thrillers to fun camp, there's a horror movie out there this Halloween weekend for everyone.

As theaters reopen and the box office numbers start to look more and more like pre-pandemic attendance, theatrical exclusive releases are becoming more common again. Although there are movies that remain solely in the cinemas for Halloween, traveling to the theater isn't the only way to see all the newly released horror films this year. Luckily, there's also no shortage of horror content in the vast streaming world.
