Kyle Richards has closed a deal that will see her return as Lindsey Wallace in Halloween Ends. Richards first starred alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in John Carpenter's Halloween, and many were delighted to see her return to Haddonfield, Illinois, in David Gordon Green's latest installment in the franchise, Halloween Kills, that was released earlier this year. The 1978 movie originally saw Richards play the young girl that Curtis' character, Laurie Strode, was babysitting on the fateful night that Michael Myers attacked.

Both 2018's Halloween and 2021's Halloween Kills received incredibly warm receptions at the box office and now production on Halloween Ends is set to begin next month, with the highly anticipated conclusion to the trilogy currently set for release in 2022. Richards' return in Halloween Kills was certainly a welcomed addition for audiences, particularly when she was seen coming face-t0-face with the boogeyman from her past once again. Luckily, Wallace survived this gruesome altercation, leading fans to question whether they could be seeing more from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star in the future, and now it appears that this will in fact be the case.

Variety reports that Richards has closed a deal to return as Lindsey in Halloween Ends after her appearance in Halloween Kills received a lot of positive feedback from audiences. According to Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse Productions, the return of original characters and actors from Carpenter's Halloween was incredibly important to Green. Blum shared that they are "thrilled" that Richards will be returning as Wallace. Plot details are, of course, being kept under wraps at this stage so the extent of Richards' role as Wallace this time around remains currently unknown.

Richards revealed that following her character's survival in Halloween Kills, she was curious if Wallace would be brought back again in Halloween Ends. The actor also shared that she was excited for production to begin and also to be reunited with Curtis and Green. While Richards is largely known for her reality TV endeavors, the star is also set to appear in the upcoming Christmas movie The Real Housewives of the North Pole that will premiere on Peacock later this month.

Although Richards' role within the Halloween franchise has been fairly brief so far, her most recent encounter with Michael Myers certainly proved that she is not to be messed with, so it will be interesting to see what the writers have in store for her this time around. Richards has expressed a desire to have some scenes alongside fellow Halloween alum Curtis in this film, so perhaps a legacy team-up could be in the cards for the upcoming threequel. As for now, it remains to be seen what sort of impact Richards' character will have on the story of Halloween Ends, but it will certainly be exciting to see her come up against Michael Myers once more.
