Michael Myers is unkillable, both in Halloween (1978) and in pop culture. There have been several making-of documentaries, books, TV shows, and comic books, all devoted to either telling his story or telling the story about behind the scenes of the iconic movie. And now podcasts can be added to the media mix.

Devoting a podcast to a movie franchise is not unusual, and Halloween is longer-running and with more entries than most, with 12 films so far, including the most recent, Halloween Kills (2021). Halloween has kept some podcasts busy for months covering each film, with one even running for nearly a year by doing a minute-by-minute examination of the original film.

Halloween (1978) has great re-watch value, including, evidently, every minute of its running time. The Michael Myers Minute is an exploration of Halloween doing just that: literally going over the film minute by minute. Host Robert Black of the Groundhog Day Project put out 104 episodes talking about the film, its novelization and even goofs in the IMDb listing.

The archive of the entire series is on several platforms and apparently, Halloween 2 is being prepped to be gone through in two-minute intervals on the show. It's an interesting and intensive, almost immersive project and one that should satisfy the super fan looking to go even deeper than most retrospectives would.
